Did this tour on the history of WWII in Prague on our last day in the city. It was helpful to have "George" show us the sites, especially the Anthroppid related memorial and church, and the bomb shelter. He had lots of passion for the subject, and quite the treasure box of historical items from the period that helped bring the history to life.

Fantastic tour! It’s so much information about events that were very impactful during WWIi… and we didn’t even know it!! Our guide Paul was sooo great. He brought the information to light with an enthusiasm that made you feel like you were there watching. This was a tour chosen the day before and we were so glad that we did it!! Thank you Paul for pulling us into the historic event that greatly impacted the war in Prague.

George was awesome, he clearly knows the history of the Nazi occupation and Anthropoid. Really loved the photos he showed, and stories of his family who survived the occupation. Would have loved to spend several more hours speaking with him, he is so knowledgeable and passionate. Highly recommend if you're interested in this incredible chapter of history.

Pawel our guide was amazing. He made the tour come alive. His knowledge of the build up in Chez politics in the years prior to WW2 was impressive. He gave us facts but also encouraged questions and opposite theories. The time flew by and seeing the city was wonderful. The time in the palace having a drink and handling historic remnants and memorabilia was a bonus. I would absolutely recommend this tour. It brings the history and sad story of operation Anthropoid to life. Also the consequences and circumstances that followed. If you have an interest in history or even have an afternoon to spare where you'd like to see some of the story of Prague, I would urge you to take this tour. And I hope you have Pawel as a guide. He is brilliant.

Pavel is passionate about operation anthropoid. He is animated, good communicator, and friendly. I would recommend to read a bit about this subject before doing the tour. You will appreciate it even more, especially if you have never heard about operation Anthropoid.

My sister and I visited Prague for the first time and I was keen to learn more about the assassination of Heydrich at the hands of Czech resistance. The tour was eye-opening. Our guide was incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about the operation. You could tell be his detailed explanations and tone, that he cared deeply for the topic itself and how it was one of the proudest moments in his country's history. It was a harrowing experience, which made me feel like I was watching a historical documentary. Our guide made us feel so emotionally invested in the unbelievable sacrifices these men made. Highly recommended tour.

Paul provided an very informational and educational experience. He brought back to life the experiences during WW2 and the czech people. We learned a lot about the war - information that isn’t taught in our U.S. schools. Many parallels to today. He answered our questions and provided insightful stories, shared pictures and examples of documents that were required. Excellent tour and excellent guide! Highly recommend.
