The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses
Pick up from your hotel in Xian aroud 2:00pm and drive to the site of Terracotta Warriors or a 2-3 hour visit. The original site was found by four local farmers drilling a well in 1974. Now it has turned into the most important attraction in Xian. The museum includes Pit 1, Pit 2 and Pit 3 as well as the exhibition hall of the chariots and horses. The Pit 1 is the largest of the three. The museum and the mausoleum are listed as UNSCO World Cultural Heritage.
A Song of Everlasting Sorrow
After Chinese dinner, you are arranged to move on to Huaqing Hot Spring where a grand singing and dancing performance, a historical drama titled "Song of Everlasting Sorrow" is put on. The site of Huaqing Hot Spring is located under the Lishan Mountain just 5 km east of the Terracotta Warriors and Horse Museum. It is famous for the romantic love story of Emperor Xuanzong (685-762) and his concubine Yang Yuhuan in the Tang Dynasty (618-907). The Song of Everlasting Sorrow is very popular in each peak season especially from July to October. We suggest you book this tour at least 7 days in advance, or the tour may have to be canceled if tickets are sold out. After watching the performance, you are returned to your hotel in Xian around 10:00pm.

5.00Amy was incredible - she was so knowledgeable and friendly and we had the best time at the Terracotta Army museum. She took us to an amazing restaurant and made sure we knew exactly where we were going afterwards. I will be recommending this tour (and specifically Amy) to any of my friends who visit in the future.

5.00Our guide, Maria, was wonderful! She told us a lot of interesting facts about the terracotta warriors and about XiAn as well! She helped us also with hints where to make great pictures. The trip is well organized as well as the transfer from the Hotel.
