Introducing you to a fascinating produce market far from the tourist route, we'll finish up at our favourite 19th St BBQ joint where fish and cold beer perfectly compliment the people watching opportunities. The tour was fantastic! I loved the blend of history, culture and food. It was very thoughtfully designed, and very, very delicious. I'll definitely be back to try one of the other tours as well and thanks for the great evening!

What a great experience! Marc is a knowledgeable and engaging guide who is clearly passionate about Myanmar and its diverse cuisine. We had a great time visiting so many different street stalls and sampling a huge range of dishes - all of which were delicious. If, like me, you are a first-timer to Yangon, this is the ideal introduction to its street food. Highly recommended!

Had a great tour around downtown Yangon with a group of friends comprising those new and not so new to food options in Yangon. We all had a lovely time. Marc is a great guide and very knowledgeable about ingredients and history behind the food, but also knows the vendors and families running the tea shops, the Mohinga stations, night markets that make up a Sa Ba food tour. Lots of classics but also a few surprises as well that might not be so familiar to everyone (but really tasty). No gimmicks or overly touristy places, just authentic local places and lots of great flavours. A great activity for anyone looking to learn a bit more about local food in Yangon, support local businesses, and enjoy walking around always charming downtown Yangon.

What a fantastic experience and great way to see Yangon! We had so much delicious food I could barely walk afterward :) The trishaws were really cool, and the drivers were all very nice. Marc is a fabulous guide who has deep knowledge about Myanmar's culinary traditions, as well as its history and culture. He offered interesting and enjoyable observations as we made our way around Yangon sampling a wide variety of delicious dishes. I highly recommend this tour!

Let's face it, the country is under tough times now, which limit many of the incredible tourism options. While Yangon is still safe and manageable, there is an air of sadness that permeates the country. Doing this tour in my week's visit was the absolute best tonic I could ask for. I've walked those streets before. But through Marc's incredibly keen eyes and humor, those same streets and stores came alive in ways that I didn't expect. We stopped in a total of 5 or 6 places to eat. Eat experience was unique and fun. This tour could is vegetarian / vegan friendly, which is a plus for some of our group members. The only thing I wish was to do this tour earlier in my visit to Yangon, so I can book another tour with Marc.

Marc's food tour was truly excellent. We sampled many different street foods, from fish stew to salads to crepes to lassi, and were driven round in style by trishaw drivers Marc had organised. Marc's knowledge and passion for Myanmar food culture really brings the whole tour to life. A must-do for anyone spending time in Yangon!

A good opportunity to indulge into Yangon's street food scene. Marc knows Burmese food culture and much more about the country and its people... this is an enjoyable way to spend an evening out in downtown, eating yourself through Burmese street food dishes. It is safe, Marc knows the stalls and has even trained some of them. Don't miss it when in Yangon.

This was the first tour that my friend and I did after reaching Yangon and it really set a high standard for the rest of our trip. Marc was very knowledgeable (and quietly passionate) about the food, the communities and cultures in Myanmar. Being our first trip to Myanmar, everything we ate was amazingly (and unexpectedly) delicious. He was also kind enough to recommend other tours based on our interests. The route we were on and food we tried was carefully curated, with much thought and planning. It allowed us to try a variety of food (savoury or sweet, refreshing or rich) and walk in several different areas (muslim / Chinese community). With burmese food, I'll say don't judge it by how it looks! (And leave your diets at home..)
