Take a scenic hike to the stunning Cameron Falls, winding your way through peaceful boreal forest and over some of the oldest rock formations on Earth. Along the trail, keep an eye out for curious wildlife—maybe a fluffy ptarmigan rustling in the underbrush, a cheeky whisky jack following your steps, or a wise raven watching from above. If you're lucky, a fox might dart by, silently judging your hiking speed from the shadows. Our experienced guide will share fun facts, northern stories, and a few laughs along the way. At the falls, take in the thundering water, snap some unforgettable photos, and enjoy light snacks while soaking up the view. It’s a perfect mix of nature, exercise, and northern charm—an experience you’ll remember long after your boots are off.

We had an amazing experience with Livingston on our hike to Cameron Falls! He’s funny, knowledgeable, and clearly very experienced. The trail was a bit tricky with the fresh snow, but thanks to his helpful tips and constant care, we felt safe and confident the whole way. Along the hike, he shared lots of fun facts about Yellowknife, pointed out local plants, and talked about Indigenous traditions. You can tell he really loves what he does. Everything ran smoothly. Livingston was by far the most professional and thoughtful guide we met in Yellowknife. We’d definitely join another adventure with him next time we visit!

Mr. Robinson, our guide, was incredibly friendly and kind, and he drove us around in a very comfortable car. During the hike, he adjusted to our pace, taught us tips for navigating tricky terrain, and explained the names and uses of the plants we encountered along the way. He also shared the history of the Inuksuk, which was fascinating. Living in the city, I rarely get the chance to connect with nature, so hiking through the stunning wilderness of Yellowknife was an irreplaceable experience. The autumn foliage was breathtaking—the maple leaves had turned a brilliant yellow, truly capturing the essence of a golden fall.

12/10 recommend this tour! Lovingson is an incredible human and made our trip. My father is vision impaired and Lovingson really made such an effort to make sure he was okay. He taught us all about the various berries and plants and made it such a special experience. 100% recommend

We have a great hike at the Cameron Fall. Lovingson has been a great tour guide and explained to us different type of plants that can be used for tea or jam. Not only he gave us a good hiking tour, we learnt a lot about Yellowknife from him. Next time if we go to Yellowknife again, we will definitely book another excursion with him.

Livingston was an absolute delight. He was personable, knowledgeable about the area and the plants and foliage and kept the conversation running smoothly. He was great with allowing my sister and I to set the pace on the hike and we never felt rushed. The falls were beautiful, the weather was perfect and I would highly recommend this excursion and especially Lovingson for anyone looking to take in the beauty of this area.
