Yellowstone National Park is one of America’s great treasures. This full day safari will show off the highlights of this incredible place; volcanic thermal features, giant waterfalls, diverse wildlife, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, and Yellowstone Lake. Throughout the day we will drive scenic roads, walk historic boardwalks, enjoy the peace of natural landscapes and use our optics to view wildlife. Your guide is your driver, and their goal is to cover as many of Yellowstone’s famous features as they can in a day.

The guides at Yellowstone Safari Co. will make every effort to showcase as many highlights as possible, and will structure the day around making your experience a memorable one. They will take current road conditions, weather, seasonality, and your personal interests into consideration as they move through the park.

Yellowstone National Park East Entrance Your exact route and itinerary will be determined by your interests, current wildlife sightings, and current weather and road conditions. Our guides are all highly experienced, with thousands of hours in the field, and will expertly tailor your safari to you and your group. Summer is construction season in Yellowstone National Park and sometimes this can impact our tours. Please communicate to your guide what you most wish to see in the park and your guide will do their best to navigate road closures, traffic slowdowns, and construction wait times.

Hayden Valley

The Hayden Valley is located in central Yellowstone National Park and is home to an abundance of wildlife. The valley floor was once the lakebed of Yellowstone Lake, but is now home to streams, grassy plains and geothermal features. Our safari makes several stops here in search of wildlife. Your guide will educate you on the historical or geological significance of the area. Our tours are customized for each departure. We may not stop here on every tour. Please communicate to your guide what you most wish to see in the park.

Emma was an amazing guide! Traveling from east gate highly recommended! Emma was so attentive and knowledgeable! We saw bald eagles, grizzly/black bear, elk, deer, big horn sheep and of course bison. Learned history of Yellowstone and Cody. Saw all forms of thermal activity, waterfalls, mountains, lakes and forests! Would definitely recommend tour with Emma!!!

It was the best way to see Yellowstone, our guide Grant, wasn’t afraid to make a u turn to set up the scopes to view Grizzlies and A moose. We saw many other animals also, he didn’t rush us.

It was a small group tour. Our guide was Adam and he was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We saw a lot of wildlife including grizzly bears, elk, bison and a wolf. We would have never seen these animals if we had driven the park on our own. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Yellowstone Park is a once in a lifetime experience. And Adam, our guide, made the entire day smooth and enjoyable. Not having to figure out our own itinerary, and not having to do any driving, allowed us to just relax and enjoy the day. The binoculars and scopes Adam had with him allowed us to view wildlife we would otherwise never have even noticed. We would highly recommend this type of guided tour of Yellowstone, and this particular tour company.

We booked the Yellowstone Highlights tour out of Cody Wyoming as well as a wildlife tour. We were able to see the main highlights like old faithful, grand prismatic, Grand Canyon of Yellowstone along with unprecedented wildlife. I cannot say enough good things about our guide Adam out of Cody. He was the best guide we have ever had. He was knowledgeable, calm in navigating the crowds, excellent driver, accommodating in what each guest would like to see and most important a true advocate for the safety of both wildlife and human life. He was not afraid to speak up when guests of the park were making poor choices where wildlife was involved. The van was new, clean and well stocked with snacks, drinks and wildlife viewing equipment. We would 100% book again and specifically with Adam!

Our guide, Adam, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He made the entire day fun and interesting. We were able to bypass the chaos of finding a parking place and walking long distances to see each attraction as Adam took care of that for us. Thank you, Adam!

Great day, saw so many beautiful sites and wild life! Bison, grizzly bear, coyote, elk, deer and osprey. Adam was our guide and his love and knowledge of the park made for an exciting day! The van was very comfortable, there were 5 of us on the tour. Great snacks provided, plus water, and a huge deli meat sub with chips for lunch! Bring a jacket, the temp was cool during the early hours. It was my first time visiting Yellowstone, I feel like I saw a lot more than I would have seen driving through myself.
