Nicknamed “America’s Serengeti,” the Lamar Valley is Yellowstone’s premier wildlife viewing destination. This sweeping grassland, carved by ancient glaciers and the meandering Lamar River, provides a vital habitat for the park’s most iconic species. Visitors can observe vast herds of bison, packs of wolves, grizzly bears, elk, pronghorn, and countless birds from the comfort of their vehicle or roadside pullouts. A paradise for both wildlife watchers and anglers, Slough Creek ranks among the world’s premier locations for observing wild wolves in their natural habitat. This pristine valley, accessible via a scenic gravel road, offers sweeping views of sage-dotted meadows where wolf packs hunt, play, and tend to their pups. The creek itself, famous for its native cutthroat trout, winds through three distinct meadows. Exploring Yellowstone with Lisa was an incredible experience. She timed every stop so perfectly, she was able to pin point wild life which made for a remarkable experience. We saw wolves which is such a unique occurrence!!!! The sound bath really brought the tour to a relaxing finish leaving us feeling grounded and centered. Such a beautiful day.

Phenomenal, one-of-a-kind experience with Lisa! If you’re looking for a day to reconnect and ground yourself, this trip is a great option. Lisa is very knowledgeable about wildlife, geography and unique details. If she doesn’t know an answer, she will find out! She has a passion for education and experience. The sound bath at the end of the day is an absolute must. Be prepared for rejuvenation!

Had a great time with Lisa! She is incredibly knowledgeable about the park and went above and beyond to find a wide variety of wildlife to see in November. Lisa’s passion for Yellowstone is evident, she was able to answer every question, from wildlife and history to geology. She even brought a heat gun so we could test the different temperatures of the geysers, which was such a fun touch. The sound bath at the end felt like the perfect way to end an exciting day. I’m already looking forward to booking another trip in the future!
