Explore this compact but unique hologram and DVD narrated tour housing the private movie relic collection of 'Star Wars' creature effects wizard Nick Maley. Known as "that Yoda Guy" for his contribution to the creation of Yoda for 'The Empire Strikes Back', Nick tells about the making of many of his 63 movies and others made by his friends and associates. Spend time at the Yoda Guy Movie Exhibit while in St Maarten and enjoy an experience unlike any other worldwide. Get an insider view of making famous movies including 'Star Wars', 'Superman', 'The Terminator', 'Highlander', 'Men in Black' and more! This non-profit exhibit is the founder's endeavor to inspire youths to overcome negativity and peer pressure to live exceptional lives. Make your way to the Yoda Guy Movie Exhibit, located in the heart of St Maarten's duty-free shopping area on Front Street. Checkin a the musuem shop, which sells rare movie relics hand signed by the stars, including Mark Hamill (Luke), Carrie Fisher (Leia), Frank Oz (Yoda), Dave Prowse (Darth Vader), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) or Kenny Baker (Artoo) etc. There you check-in and gain access to the museum. 5.00This museum is one of the best for not just Star Wars fans, but movie lovers all over the world! Terminator, Hellraiser, Highlander, Men in Black, Lifeforce, and so much more. It is a small area, and if you like to take your time, it can range from as little as 30 minutes to however long you wish to stay. There is so much history, behind the scenes secrets, rare memorabilia, and my husband and I even got to meet Nick Maley, “That Yoda Guy”, himself. He was super kind and easy to talk to. For $20 a person, it might seem a little much, but it is worth going through and even getting a photo with Maley for free! They are nonprofit, and one of their projects is to build a new Yoda Puppet, like in the Original Star Wars Trilogy. If you are going to St. Maarten, do NOT skip this if you want an amazing experience.

5.00Fun museum with lots of Star Wars and SciFi movie memorabilia. Nick Maley was there to greet visitors and take a photo and even sign autographs. It was a fun stop on our tour of Philipsburg.
Fantastic suprise for a Star Wars fan on an island far, far away...

5.00The last thing I expected to find in Phillipsburg was a Star Wars museum. It is a small but fascinating exhibit located not far from the water taxi station. The owner, Nick Maley is friendly, engaging, and generous with his time. He was involved in making several well known films including the original Star Wars trilogy. He answered questions and took photos with me. He has several unique collectors items for sale that would be hard to come by elsewhere. This was a fun surprise for a life-long Star Wars fan.

5.00A veritable treasure trove of movie artifacts and not just from Star Wars. Nick and Gloria are delightful people and fun to talk to, and if you are a fan of vampires, they've written a novel and have it for sale. I'm only 30 pages in and am enjoying it very much.

5.00We visited Yoda guy movie exhibit on January 2026. It is located near cruiseship port and in the Jewerly store street (Front Street). You cannot find the parking in front of this museum. We parked our rent car in some place about 17mins' walking distance away. If you are interested in movie like Star wars, Man in Black, Terminator etc., you will have fun and get behind the scence information. Our favorite part was meeting with Nick Maley at the end of the exhbit. He answered our questions well, and we took pictures with him.

5.00Nick and his wife were very welcoming and shared all kinds of cool Star Wars and other movie franchise FX “insider” info. Love that they use their museum/platform as a way to give back to their local community. Highly recommend, especially if you’re Star Wars fan!

5.00So I found this gem of a place in sint maarten in the Caribbean on holiday with my gorgeous wife Sarah Partner and was blown away. Was walking up the street and we both heard some Star Wars music and then found this amazing Star wars museum run by the famous man himself the one and only "that YodaGuy" Nick Maley. The person responsible for creating Yoda and many more film creations and to top it off he was actually in the shop 😁 What can I say, a must see for any star wars fan & movie fan alike, the museum has got it all from amazing sculptures, props and original artwork, film scripts and behind the scenes look at star wars and film memorabilia. You could look around this place and spend easily a day reading and looking at everything on offer at this hidden gem. you will also see many other movies Nick has worked on and put his talent to, as he's worked on over 50 odd movies in his career. I was so happy to see Nick Marley and it made mine and my wife's holiday. such an amazing person who gives so much to his fans. He spoke to us for almost an hour and we purchased an original script from the empire strikes back and it was signed by Nick and had a certificate of authentication. Nick has a lot of original star wars and movie memorabilia so don't hesitate to check his amazing shop out after you look around the museum. We were on a Caribbean cruise so only got to spend a short time here but we are back this year hopefully for a holiday for a few weeks so will make a point to go and see Nick again at his amazing shop and museum. Thanks again Nick may the force be with you 😁

5.00My family and I visited today, 1.1.26. It was a wonderful experience. Nick and Gloria personally visited with us and showed us the movie art and history. They were quite hospitable and very friendly. I strongly recommend this stop for any movie fans, especially anyone interested in Star Wars. It was reasonably priced, and we also purchased some of their art work, which is outstanding.
