I've been on 3 Fukuoka Guided trips. This has to be the most culture rich and informative of them all, in very beautiful ways. There is also so much hands on activities that teach you the way of Tea and Matcha, paper making (a little sidequest) and deep sake knowledge. Additionally, our lovely guide Naoko, provided a lot of information, unrelated to tea, paper and sake, during the trip! I will definitely recommend this trip to anyone i know that visits Fukuoka 🎉

Had a great time with Shuji-san experiencing both Tea and Sake. We had a relatively small group with us as well and it gave us some flexbility and options with the schedule and what our group wanted to do. Ended up visiting the Yame tea farm, doing our own tea leaf miling and lunch at the museum, going to an extra matcha factory, and visiting the Sake tasting. Shuji-san provided us with great commentary on Tea and Sake, as well as Japanese history.

We were in a group of 19 total travelers. Our guide was very personable and the places we went were great. The tea fields were beautiful, even in November. Really loved grinding our own matcha and making tea. Lunch was tasty. The sake brewery was nice! We actually got to try five sakes. The trip home was, as a result, more fun.
