5.00This tour was great. The acting was superb and I learned a few things during the tour. We loved it! I would recommend to anyone visiting York to go on this tour.

5.00Absolutely amazing! I loved the interactive format, the actors were brilliant - some too realistic … My 9 year old grandson loved it too although some parts were a little too scary for him. I had to keep reminding him it was pretend which shows just how good it was! My favourite part was when he was chosen for ‘execution’ - apparently grandma isn’t supposed to shout ‘execute him’ with such enthusiasm. Would 100% recommend this. I did balk at the cost at first but it was worth every penny. Only one negative but not enough to downgrade - as someone with a disability, the unevenness of the floor together with the dark made me a little hesitant but still not enough to downgrade the experience. Oh and if you are disabled and need the toilet, find somewhere else to go beforehand as they are situated out of the building, up some steps and down some stairs! Take your kids, frighten them half to death and then laugh about it all afterwards!
