We had an amazing experience on our private day trip from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur! From start to finish, everything was smooth and well organized. Our guide Andy picked us up right on time and immediately made us feel comfortable. He was full of knowledge and kept sharing fascinating stories about the history, culture, politics and general life in Malaysia and the connection with neighbouring countries as we drove. Along the way, he recommended a great local spot for breakfast, which was delicious, authentic and not expensive, a perfect way to start the day. The stops show us a perfect highlight of KL with lots of useful insights and stories about Malaysia’s history and independence. Andy showed us some good places to pick up souvenirs and local crafts, with tips on how much things should cost. Our final stop was the beautiful Thean Hou Temple, a colorful way to end the day. The temple was stunning and Andy learned us how the temple provides answers to your daily questions in life using the sticks, numbers and matching answers. Overall, it was an unforgettable trip, educational, comfortable, and fun. Andy made sure we had the best experience possible.

Great trip with Andy. #1 he is very responsive via WhatsApp and made the logistics of the trip easy and understandable. His responsiveness and details made the day of the trip a lot easier. #2 minivan was clean and safe. Air con cold. The trip itself was very good. Enjoyed the caves and the Towers a lot. Overall trip exceeded our expectations. I attribute a lot of this to Andy who was definitely very knowledgeable and friendly. Recommendation - bring water and snacks, the car rides are long from Singapore to KL. Sunday night traffic on return to Singapore can be heavy (due to locals returning from KL weekends). Overall 5 star, would recommend.

Andy was great. I booked the trip last minute and he communicated with me in timely manner to ease my travel concerns to Malaysia since I have never been in the country before. He sent me all the info I needed to make my tour an experience. Andy was very punctual and took his time to explain the sites I was seeing. He gave plenty of time to see what I wanted to see in my own pace. He navigated exceptionally around busy street with a sense of comfort and more importantly my safety. I highly recommend Andy and this tour.

Great experience. We took the day trip from Singapore and definitely recommend. Andy was a fantastic guide, shared a lot of background information on Malaysia and we felt like it was a nice snapshot of the area, seeing urban KL and some outlying attractions. My two teenagers were engaged with each stop and Andy gave us helpful recommendations on foods to try, places to shop, and history of the sites that allowed us get the most out a one day trip. He’s a skilled driver who knows the areas well, the van was clean and comfortable, which allowed us to just relax and enjoy the ride. Felt like traveling with a family friend. Thanks, Andy!

We had a fantastic day visiting Kuala Lumpur with Andy! KL is a fascinating contrast to Singapore and this tour is a great way to explore another country in a limited amount of time. We learned so much from Andy about life in both Malaysia and Singapore; he was super nice, as well! The van was comfortable which is important since there is a lot of driving involved. And Andy is a safe driver, too! Don't expect too much scenery along the drive, it was mainly palm oil groves and it was mostly dark on the way back. Our favorite stop was Batu Caves. Be sure to wear closed toe shoes and long pants despite the heat. Long pants are required for the temple and I think closed toe shoes are important for hygiene reasons due to the amount of monkeys there. The monkeys were not particularly aggressive but can be a little intimidating when you're climbing the steps and they are sitting nearby on the handrails, etc. It's such a cool photo op though and climbing the 272 steps to the top gives you quite a workout but you can go as slow as you need to and there are lots of platforms to rest. It may not be a good idea for someone scared of heights, though. I got a little nervous coming down the steps a few times and made sure to hang onto the hand rails. Our next stop was the Petronas Twin Towers which is a must-do when you're visiting KL. Andy will send you a link to purchase tickets in advance and they work out to be about $21USD per person. The next stop was Central Market where we had a fantastic lunch and did a little shopping. I wish I would have had more time to shop as the prices were great and it was the perfect place to pick up Malaysian souvenirs, like batik scarves. If you want more than 30 minutes or so to shop, let Andy know in advance and I'm sure he would be able to accommodate it. Our last stop was the Thean Hou Temple, which was quite beautiful. Getting home took a little longer than expected due to KL traffic so don't make dinner reservations for that evening unless you can cancel them without penalty. We didn't end up getting back to Singapore until around 11pm or so. We had a fantastic time and really enjoyed getting to know Andy. Thank you!
