Zaanse Schans

A relaxing and complete journey escape to the countryside, visiting Zaanse Schans recreated for the look of 18th/19th century Dutch village. You will be accompanied personal local guide, you will transfer to your van to enjoy a small-group traveling experience with a personal touch. Your typical Dutch experience begins with the Zaanse Schans windmill village. You can see the clog makers at work in the workshop, and learn about the history of wooden shoes in the museum. Following this you will experience a cheese factory demonstration where staff will be dressed in traditional Dutch costumes. You can buy beautiful souvenirs in a wide variety of outlets from cheese, wooden shoes, delft blue pottery, to local handcrafted items. Do not miss your chance to have your picture taken in the giant wooden shoe!

The guidance of the tour guide and driver saved us a lot of transportation time. The tour guide’s careful introduction and Chinese and English translation along the way allowed all tourists to clearly understand the introduction of each attraction. It was really a worthwhile experience!

We did 2 wonderful tours with 2 amazing and well knowledgeable guides. The first one that I booked was planned and that’s the Zaanse Schans and Volendam semi private tour with Victoria as our guide. The second one was the private tour in Rotterdam and Delft which was customized for us by Cherry (also our guide in this tour) since my original booked tour was cancelled by a different company few days before the set date. It was nice of her to accommodate us and make it happened. It made our trip memorable.
Fun tour. Poor tour provider.

Both stops were fun. However, we were picked up in a small Honda which was in disrepair. The tour guide told us he had hearing problems and we had to continually ask him to speak up. We eventually quit talking on the way back. I would recommend the tour, but not tour provider.

It was excellent! We really enjoyed the windmill area and Usman was an excellent, personable guide. He answered our questions and provided information about the areas we visited. We enjoyed the clog making and Stroopwafel making demonstrations, too. Volendam was very picturesque…great fish, too. We really enjoyed the personal tour guide for a small group of 8!

Our guide at Cherry tour was super amazing. We had a fantastic experience. Everything was well coordinated and planned to perfection Staff were extremely helpful, giving directions to our meeting point. Shout out to Sabir our driver, He went far and beyond to make sure I didn't miss my flight. Thank you so much. your kindness is much appreciated. I highly recommend Cherry Tour Guide to everyone.

Our guide, Cherry, did a great job. She pointed out some interesting landmarks and gave a good overall experience of what you can see and do outside of Amsterdam. She took lots of photos for us, without us even having to prompt her! It was a fun tour to take outside of the main city.

Had a wonderful tour by Alex. He is so full of knowledge and explained everything so well. You can tell he has a great passion for his job and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend this tour.

What a great day! Cherry is simply amazing and in combination with Derrick our driver, we learned a lot, saw lots and met some wonderful people! We were picked up from our Airbnb which is so convenient and Cherry was in constant contact via WhatsApp with pick up times etc. (WhatsApp is best while in Holland..everyone uses that for texting) Her knowledge of Amsterdam and the locations we visited was immense and clear. We were given demonstrations at all the locations which Cherry co-ordinated which made the excursion even more enjoyable and memorable. I would highly recommend any tourist to seek out Cherry !
