After early morning pick up from your hotel we will drive you towards Slovakian border. On the way you will be able to admire diversity of landspaces in southern Poland. Our first destination is situated in northern Slovakia (Orava region), only 40 km from the border. Oravsky Castle is considered to be one of the most impressive castles of Slovakia and one of major tourist attractions of the country. It was built in 1241 on a high rock above the river of Orava. You will admire fantastic panorama views over scenic area of green fields, forests, river and hills surrounding the castle. Moreover, the Castle houses museum which presents historical exhibitions.
Zakopane
After visiting Orava Castle, we will drive back to Poland straight to its winter capital – Zakopane. We will probably start with break for lunch in the centre and then start discovering all highlights of this charming town located at the foot of Tatra Mountains. Our guide will take you for a pleasant walk along the Old Town area and ancient cemetery. You will stroll along the main commercial street of Zakopane - Krupowki – where the highlanders sell their local hand-made products. You will also visit the Tatra Museum and a unique Papal Sanctuary at Krzeptowki. After sightseeing, we will go back to Krakow.

5.00Ewa was truly amazing. The scenery was spectacular as we crossed the border into Slovakia. The he tour of the castle was an experience I’ll never forget. Ewa introduced us to a traditional slovakian dish. It was snowing when we got to Zakopane, but it was beautiful. This trip was one of the best tours I ever took!

5.00This trip was so much fun! We did this tour on our last day in Poland after touring the country and we definitely saved the best for last! Our guide was Kasia and she was fabulous! She was very knowledgeable about our destinations but also told us background and stories about things we passed along the way. Her vehicle was clean and comfortable. She was very attentive to our wants and needs and was extremely flexible. In addition to visiting Orava Hrad and Zakopane, we stopped along the way to take pictures, visited a great local coffee shop in Slovakia, and - my favorite part - took us to one of her favorite restaurants just outside Zakopane overlooking Tatras! I definitely recommend this tour :)
