Hike at your speed with your group only!Angels Landing is one of the most revered hiking trails in the world! Angels Landing is a monolithic outcropping of sandstone that provides the best panorama in Zion with grandiose views to the canyon floor, over 1,400 feet below. Our guides can help you navigate logistics, manage safety, and provide insight into the natural and cultural history of the park. Infamous highlights of this hike include the formidable switchbacks known as Walter's Wiggles and The Chains and the steep and exposed summit ridge. The hike was permitted in 2023 due to its large popularity. Hikers may apply on a lottery basis, but spots are limited.
We will meet all clients at the Zion National Park Visitor Center at the flagpole unless instructed otherwise from your guide.
Guides will text client the day before the adventure.
All guest must bring 2-3L of water per person and lunch/snacks.

Angel's Landing
This guided tour will start at the visitor center, and you will ride the Zion Shuttle to the start of the Angels Landing trail. The last mile of the trail narrows; there are steep drop-offs and metal chains to safely get you to the summit of Angels Landing. Once at the top, you will enjoy the amazing views of Zion National Park, take photos, and eat a snack before you head back down. Our guides will coach you through the exposed sections, and we will provide the permit needed to complete this hike. Permits are required for anyone trying to do this hike at any time of the year. They are hard to get, and a lot of travelers miss this world-famous hike because they cannot get a permit. Don't miss out, and book your spot in advance with us!

Travelers will meet their guide at the Zion National Park Visitor Center and ride the shuttle through the Zion Canyon Drive.

5.00We were lucky enough to have our guide for two days in Zion. I cannot say enough how great it was to have a guide in these hikes especially on our first time in Zion. Our guide Benji was as a geology major so he found all sorts of fossils, flowers, plants and even a hummingbird that we would have totally missed!! I can’t recommend having a guide enough and we loved ours!! Super worth it. They make it really easy for you. They get your permits and your gear!! Thanks again Benji!! You were awesome! 100/10!

5.00Date was incorrect at reservation through Victor, but the owner of Sundial Guiding fixed it within a couple of hours, and has us ready to go for a trip the next morning. Our guide, Ben, was simply fantastic. Very knowledgeable about the ecosystem, passionate about the area, available to help but never forceful. Great demeanor. Spectacular trip.
Angel's Landing with Andrew was exceptional! He is the best!

5.00This was my first visit to Zion and Angel's Landing was on my bucket list! To ensure a successful hike, I booked a guide with Sundial Guiding. I was blessed to get Andrew as my guide! He was very patient and kind. He did not rush me and let me take a break when I needed to stop. He also had tons of information about Zion, the narrows, canyoneering, etc. He is a wealth of information! Andrew made my trip very pleasant. He is also a very accomplished photographer and took many pictures of the whole trip and shared them with me at the end. I highly recommend Andrew and Sundial Guiding!

5.00Absolutely breathtaking hike. I would not have been able to do the last stretch if not for the startegically placed chains for support. And Becca did a splendid job guiding us through the trail in a very relaxed manner.

5.00This was an AMAZING experience! I am a solo traveler and heavily debated doing a hike on my own or booking a tour, and I am SO happy I decided to book with sundial!! The experience was priceless with all of the permits already attained, the plethora of information about the next section of the trail and the mountains and wildlife, the encouragement to get to the top, the photos taken of me, and the amazing company with Audrey, one of their guides. They’re a small company that’s really focused on quality and customer experience. Next time I’m back in Zion I will definitely book with them again!

5.00Guides of sundial were very friendly, kind and knowledgeable about the parks, giving fun facts and details about nature. In the difficult parts of the trails they were very reassuring and encouraging keeping us safe and motivated.

5.00We thoroughly enjoyed the hike! We booked 2 months in advance. Would highly recommend a tour guide. Melissa was our guide and she was excellent! She's informative and has a calming encouraging persona ! I was apprehensive regarding the height on the chains but she calmly encouraged me. She led the way on the trail and my husband and I followed. I didn't focus on the views ( or the height ) 😉 till the top! 😁Starting early is key . We met at 7:30 am. Beat the rush and the temps were pleasant. If considering the climb it's a must do !! Once again would highly recommend Melissa as your tour guide. 👏 👌

5.00Angels Landing was a great hike to do in Zion and Becca, our guide was the best. She was the most accommodating, fun and supportive hike/tour guide we've had in a long time. She was super engaging sharing a lot of interesting factoids about Zion and how it was formed. She has been the most helpful to my sister, who was able to conquer her fear of heights! She didn't want to continue to the next portion of the hike where the chains where, but Becca, without being forceful, was able to get her all the way to the top at a pace that was manageable for my sister. :) She was very pleasant and so accommodating - taking all the pictures we want! I would encourage everyone to do the Angels Landing hike (weather permitting). We were lucky to have a very good weather, but more than anything, to have a SUPER GUIDE in Becca! :)
