The 9/11 Memorial Museum in Lower Manhattan preserves the history of the attacks on the World Trade Center, and documents the significance of those events through building remnants, personal artifacts, first-person accounts and multimedia displays. With this admission ticket, take a self-guided tour of the museum's memorial exhibition and 3-part historical exhibition, which commemorates the 2,983 people who were killed, honors those who risked their lives to save others, and reflects on the courage and compassion shown in the aftermath.

Through commemoration, exhibitions and educational programs, The National September 11 Memorial & Museum, a nonprofit in New York City, remembers and honors the 2,983 people killed in the horrific attacks of September 11, 2001, and February 26, 1993, as well as those who risked their lives to save others and all who demonstrated extraordinary compassion in the aftermath of the attacks.

5.00We took an Amtrak train to NY that took 5 hrs due to electrical problems. Our reservation to 911 museum was for 2pm. We didn't get there until 4pm. So we were short changed for time. We had to change our return trip on Amtrak from 5pm to 7pm. ALL in all the Museum was put together well. Very informative and still hard to believe it happened. I wasn't work 25 years ago! So sad. M. Healy
A very moving experience. The size, scope and detail is so well presented in this memorial.

5.00This museum is a must see. I took the family to make sure my older children understood the events of that day and who it was that attacked us. Never forget.

5.00It is humbling, surreal bring back memories of that day and the ones to follow. Seeing the thoughts prayers and drawing from children all over the United States I was not ready for that. I am sorry it took me this long to pay my respects in person.

5.00Visiting the 9/11 Museum was an emotional experience, but also a hopeful one. The stories of courage, the acts of kindness, the way strangers helped strangers — all of it reminded us that even in the darkest moments, humanity shines through. The museum honors the lives lost with such dignity and compassion. We walked out feeling moved, reflective, and incredibly grateful for the strength and unity that emerged from such a painful day.
