Revel in the fun of an adrenaline-pumping tour by all-terrain vehicle (ATV) through the lush countryside of St Kitts. Your expert guide shows you breathtaking views, volcanic mountains, and tropical foliage as you zoom through sugar cane fields and rolling hills at the base of emerald mountains. Guests get to explore the remains of one of the island’s sugar plantation estate, Lambert’s Estate. As a major neighboring landmark to the Wingfield Estate, it is a key stop and half way point in the tour route. Guests get time to explore the grounds, take pics and rest while the guide(s) take them through the history & of the grounds and the island’s culture.

At our base, we have a bar with drinks and water for sale. There is a clear up station for after the tour and restroom facilities. The tour orientation and practice run are also done here. Place of the start and end of the tour.
Wingfield Estate Sugar Plantation Ruins
The tour starts at the historic Wingfield Estate located in the foothills of St. Kitts’ central mountain range. When the English settled on the island in 1625, it became the first working estate on the island for tobacco, sugar and rum. It was originally owned by Sam Jefferson, the great-great-great-grandfather of US President Thomas Jefferson. Guests will see the ruins and may get a chance to visit the rum distillery to learn how sugar was converted into rum back in the day.

5.00Ivan was our tour guide and he was so helpful, explaining how to properly use the ATV as first timers, and also did a great job explaining the country and history of St. Kitt’s. The landscape we rode on is a bit rocky and has hills, but Ivan did a good job making sure we were safe on it.
This was so worth it! What a great time!

5.00This is the best! What a blast! The guides were attentive; some guests had no experience on an ATV before. Over the river, through the rain forest to the ocean- you just kept thinking it couldn’t get better or more fun and it did.

5.00We had a great time! The driver picked us up outside the cruise terminal and took us to the staring point. Ivan was our guide and Manners rode at the back of the group. They stopped often to make sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. Would definitely recommend this activity!

4.00The guides were great. The ride there was in an air conditioned van which was a plus. The only con was the trash seen during the drive. The views were beautiful and the ATV was easy to operate.

5.00The service from start to finish was worth it. Picked us up at the hotel on time. Drove us out to the atv tour base camp. Explained everything to us, i was a novice with atvs. No frills just fun. Guided us to see local flora and stopped to explain history of the island. Went at a good pace with 2 guides to look after the group and make sure everyone was safe and stayed on trail. Gave us a chance to stop at a local market for drinks and snacks. Worth every penny for the experience.

5.00My husband is an experienced ATV’er I AM NOT but Ivan gave me the confidence and support I needed. Both my husband and I had an amazing time!!! Ivan and Donnie kept checking on the whole group to make sure everyone was ok! We both would definitely do this again!!!!! The whole thing was amazing from pick up to “training” to rinding to drop off!!! Some suggestions…. Definitely wear closed toe shoes. You’d probably be ok in sandals but we went through some very rutty and weedy areas and I was very glad we had on sneakers. And you WILL be filthy when you’re done. Also, I was exhausted when we were done probably due to adrenaline but whew!!! This was so much fun.
