5.00We just came back from a wonderful excursion around the island and up steep roads and not-exactly-roads. Franck, our guide, was delightful and we greatly enjoyed talking and joking with him in addition to listening to his very informative and amusing explanations. Despite the forbidding terrain, the ride was relatively comfortable, since Franck drove slowly, especially over bad bumps. This tour was a great complement to seeing the island from the water.

5.00⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Tour — Ask for Frank This was one of our favorite excursions in Bora Bora. The scenery was beautiful, but what made the tour special was our guide, Frank. He shared the history, culture, legends, and everyday life of Bora Bora in a way that made the island feel personal rather than just another sightseeing stop. His stories and sense of humor kept us engaged throughout the tour and gave us a much deeper appreciation for the island. If possible, ask for Frank. Also, try to sit up front in the cab of the truck if seats are available. That’s where we heard many of the stories and conversations that made the experience so memorable. If you’re looking for more than great viewpoints and want to learn about Bora Bora from someone who truly knows and loves the island, this tour is an excellent choice.
