Embark on a journey through time in a historic setting, as the intriguing tale of Irish whiskey is revealed. Learn about its rise to glory, its dramatic fall and of course, its current revival. Experience a story never told before in such a unique setting, during an hour-long interactive experience. Daily guided tours unveil the humble beginnings of Irish whiskey, when a foul tasting liquid was used to ease the woes of a troubled and poor nation. Known originally in Gaelic as uisca beatha, over time it was translated to whiskee, and then to whiskey, as it is known today. Enjoy listening to entertaining storytellers as they take you through the magical tale. At the end of the tour there’s a generous whiskey tasting led by experienced master whiskey tasters, giving you the opportunity to sample a range of excellent Irish whiskeys and learn the subtle differences between them, discovering the unique flavours locked inside.

4.00This really isn’t a “museum”, disappointingly. A guide tells you a rough overview of whiskey and irelands role with it, plus some provides a small tasting. The difference between the standard and premium tours was the premium received an extra sample. The “tour” itself was fine but a little strange. We were taken to several rooms during and they played videos that kinda gave some info, but our guide was filling in most of it. Our guide, Matt, was great and really friendly! I just wish he could’ve just talked with us instead of having the company rely on videos. there was one cheap jump scare that kinda made the “tour” seem hokey. Overall, it was ok, not the best alcohol tour we’ve been on, not the worst.
It was a nice experience for the friend group.

5.00Tour guide was excellent, great knowledge and style of speaking. Place done with style perfect style to the whole story and history. Few steps to do but elevator is available. Testing was fabulous, better to choose premium than standard, whisky was just perfect.

5.00I was a bit dubious, but decided to go based on the reviews. This tour was terrific and very entertaining. It is clever audio visuals and not the standard distillery tour. It takes about an hour and ends with a tasting of several popular Irish whiskeys which are not of the Jameson tree. Whiskey servings were adequate but not excessive, so don't worry about needing a nap after day drinking LOL.
