Etna and Wine is a combination that is more than just an excursion, it is a journey through the most authentic flavors and volcanic landscapes of Sicily. What makes Lady Etna tour unique is the multisensory experience it offers. You will walk through lava flows and silent craters, hear millennial stories of fire and earth, and at the end you will toast with fine wines born right from the volcano. Our tour combines the strength of Etna's nature with the warmth of local wine traditions, with visits to selected wineries and tastings guided by experts. It is an authentic, intense experience, designed for those who want to experience Etna with all their senses. Our guides, are ready to make you live a unique experience. During the tasting at the winery, alcohol will be served exclusively to participants aged 21 and over. In case of presence of children, a tasting experience will be proposed with a special non-alcoholic menu.

The excursion to the Sartorius Mountains, allows visitors to immerse themselves in one of the most suggestive scenery of Etna. The route opens between side craters formed in the 1865 eruption, birch woods of Etna and spectacular panoramic views of the north side of the volcano. accompanied by an expert guide, it will be possible to discover geological, botanical and faunal aspects of the area, living an educational experience in close contact with nature, suitable for all ages and levels of preparation.
La Grotta dei Ladri
A not to be missed stop on the north side of Etna, the Grotta dei ladri is a suggestive lava flow tunnel formed by ancient flows. surrounded by a dense birch forest, offers a fascinating experience between nature, geology and legend.

5.00This tour was thoroughly enjoyable and extremely informative. Our guide Alex made the experience memorable with his vast knowledge of Mount Etna and volcanos all over the world. His passion for the subject is contagious and I wouldn’t want any other guide for this type of tour because of his warm personality. He was also very attentive to our individual needs in the group and helped make sure I descended safely from the hiking portion as I wore the wrong sneakers. Advice to fellow travelers: wear sneakers with sufficient tread to prevent sliding on small rocks/gravel, bring a hat and light jacket, wear sunscreen, bring a bottle of water. The wine tasting was also fabulous in every way-wine, service and food. Overall this was the highlight of our stay in Taormina and we HIGHLY recommend you book this particular tour. Many thanks to Alex!!!

5.00Alex had a great deal of knowledge on volcanoes and Sicily he shared. It was have been great to dive more into the wider history of the islands and diversify the information. Gambino winery was excellent and they were generous with food and wine, but ren minutes to have an espresso outside after a meal and enjoy the grounds would have been appreciated. Lastly, please include the inclusions on the trip in the booking like F&B as we all packed snacks and share an itinerary with timings once we are all on board

5.00Spectacular views with just the right amount of hiking for us. The wine tasting experience at Gambino was the best ever. Our guide, Alex, must have had a PhD in volcanology because he knew everything about Mt. Etna and other ones around the world. He made the mountain come alive. Highly recommend this tour experience.

5.00A very enjoyable experience! Alex was a very knowledgeable guide and great company. We experienced various aspects of Etna & loved the passion for volcanology that Alex shared with us. Our trip to the Gambino Winery was equally enjoyable. The hosts were very generous with the wine and we enjoyed the food. A great day & experience that we recommend.

5.00We had the best time on this tour .. the communication prior to the tour was good with Tiziana! On the day we met Alex our guide for the day ! A man who is so passionate on all things volcanoes, kind and cared to ensure all in the group had a good experience! We started driving up the mountain and stoping for a quick Espressos and then went trough a cave and then we went hiking the crater .. hiking shoes and walking sticks were provided plus helmet for the caves! What a lovely day .. sun shining and snow and fresh air with a fun and knowledgeable and a guide who took safety seriously! Hey guys ..🤓 also we then finished off with an amazing wine tasting of 6 beautiful wines plus lunch ! No Complains here as refills of good and wine were given .. 10/10 tour .. thank you 🙏

5.00What a wonderful tour of an outdoor activity hiking into a crater, deep dive into a cave and finishing off with tasting of wonderful wines of ETNA region at Gambino winery. First - communication with Tiziana was very good and prompt ! Then on the day we met Alex our tour guide for the next 7 hours ! Alex Is so passionate and well versed in all things volcanoes .. He really made the effort to ensure that we all had a great time - telling us great jokes and taught us about ETNA and stories on all things volcanoes 🌋 ! during the tour one of the guest were not well and it was good to see the care he took to look after the guest by giving some options ! Plus later he also Made sure he came back to check on the guests a few more times! The wine tasting was also 1st class where we were given 5 glasses to try plus a plate of cold cuts and cheeses, chickpeas and lentil soup, main course of one of the best BBQ sausages I have had and finishing of with Sicilian canoli . We have been to wineries where there is a limit on how They pour .. but at Gambjno they know How to treat their customers ..with tops up if wines and food .. Thank you for such a wonderful experience and representation of such warmth, care and his hospitality is top notch ! If you are looking for a good tour - you will NOT be disappointed ! As we had such a unique experience

5.00Alex is an awesome guide! Results are in, and Alex is the smartest and most entertaining guide on the mountain. He is very passionate and knowledgeable about volcanoes. He provided a lot of information, took pictures for us, and answered our questions. We had the best time and highly recommend this tour with Alex.
