Lava Show: Premium Experience
Access to the Premium Lounge: Enjoy the luxurious VIP lounge on the second floor, specifically designed to make you feel relaxed and comfortable. Behind the Scenes Video: Exclusive behind the scenes video after the classic experience is over that explains how the lava-melting process works. Premium Balcony Seats (hot!): More comfortable balcony seats on the 2nd floor with unhindered balcony view over the lava flow. These seats are extra hot! Duration: 1 hour 10 minutes A drink of choice upon arrival: As part of the Premium Experience you get a welcome drink of your choice from the lounge bar A giftwrapped piece of lava: A unique and beautiful piece of black shiny lava (tachylite) from the show, giftwrapped in a velvet pouch including a tag.
The Classic Experience
Duration: 50 minutes: A ~10 min intro by the lava host, a dramatic, educational video, and then the lava flows into the showroom. Q&A at the end.

5.00fantastic show , very knowledgeable people running the show . well worth the admission fee , paid a bit extra for the VIP experience , lovely little bar area & free drink , also the lave souvenir was bigger than expected & actually from the 1918 eruption so added bonus. plenty of time for show nothing rushed

5.00Fantastic experience. Our presenter, Ian, was excellent. Educational, and useful to better understanding the unique landscape and geography of Iceland. I recommend doing this prior to touring the Lava Tunnel.

4.00Great show. Very informative. We chose the upgraded seats. Recieved a drink for the show, piece of lava and an extra 5 min movie afterward about the behind the scene of the show. Not sure the upgrade was necessary but glad we did it.

5.00We really enjoyed the Lava Show. Iceland is a country sitting on magma and comprised almost entirely of land made from lava - so it makes sense that a show like this exists here (and is apparently the only place on earth like it). We upgraded to the premium package and thought the perks were cool (a lounge, access to a lava suit, drinks, and a piece of lava). Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. This was really really cool.
