Snæfellsjökull National Park, located on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula in western Iceland, is renowned for its stunning landscapes and geological features. Established in 2001, the park is dominated by the Snæfellsjökull volcano, topped by a glacier and famously featured in Jules Verne's *Journey to the Center of the Earth*. The park includes rugged coastlines, lava fields, and diverse flora and fauna, offering hiking trails and breathtaking views. It also contains cultural and historical sites, such as ancient fishing villages and Viking settlements, making it a popular destination for nature and history enthusiasts.

Was a fantastic day, beautiful weather was cheery on top! Bright sunny day with incredible landscape. Our guide Svatlanna was super knowledgeable and shared lots of fun facts about the country in general. Highly recommended!

A chance to see a wonderful part of Iceland. There are mountains, waterfalls, black sand beaches, lava fields, sheep, horses, churches and seals...what's not to love?! Siggi, our guide, made the day fun too.

The duration was 11 hours for this tour. It was very good as we were able to see various land scapes. The mountains and waterfall was beautiful. The guide helped us to get water direct from the waterfall to drink the pure Icelandic water.
