The team was professional and efficient. Their preparation communication was clear and helped us understand what we were getting with our selected package. The ride was comfortable, with well-timed breaks at clean facilities. The park itself was breathtaking. And the guides — we lucked into a duo of Serge and Dixie’s) were great, offering good commentary (but not too much) and we’re clearly eager to do their part to provide a great day. While there are no guarantees, we saw most of the wildlife we hoped to, and many up close. Strong recommendation!

Amazing adventure with a very knowledgeable and personable guide. Most importantly, communication was phenomenal. We got to meet the owner as well which solidified our choice. Highly recommend this company.

We had an amazing time with Serge and Didier at Akagera. We saw so many animals, including but not limited to elephants, rhinos, crocs, hippos, giraffes, Cape buffalo, impala and even had an intimate moment with a baboon! Our guides were super knowledgeable, friendly and great drivers of their pop-up Land Cruiser Safari vehicle. I would highly recommend going with Rwagasabo Safaris the next time you visit Rwanda!

I was in Kigali with a small group recently for work. We really wanted to find the opportunity to see some of it’s wildlife. I worked with Serige to organise a time and date. He was incredibly friendly and professional despite the short notice. We were picked up the following day at 4am from our respective locations by Jean Claude! I can honestly say Jeanclaude was the best guide I have ever had. He went out of his way to seek out a variation of wildlife. He taught us about Akageras history and the various wildlife we encountered (elephants, lions, hippos, giraffe to name a few). What made the experience even better was that you could see how much Jean Claude cared about the park and loved his job. I hope we meet again. We really felt like a team on this trip together and it was a wonderful experience. If you go to Kigali you should 100% visit Akagera and you should definitely choose Serige and Jean Claude as your guides. Thankyou to them!

Serge was very responsive in organising our day safari at short noticed and at a very busy time. Our driver / guide Jean Claus was wonderful, very knowledgable, and with luck we managed to see so much - including a sleeping pride of lions! Would recommend this as a wonderful experience very accessible from Kigali

I was in Kigali for work and decided to fit in a 1-day Akagera Safari trip and a 1-day Gorilla Trek in Volcanoes National Park. Serge and Fabrice were super attentive, diligent and fun to be around. I probably asked Serge around 50 questions and he never failed to reply. Especially being my first time in Africa and as a solo female I had concerns about safety, but they made me feel very reassured. If you like to shop Serge is also very patient! I arrived late in Kigali on a Saturday and we had to head out at 5:30am on Sunday. Serge came to the hotel for a full briefing on Saturday night. Both of them must have not slept much the night before but still managed to provide an incredible trip. Fabrice drove for the whole day tirelessly and knows his way well around Rwanda! Rwagasabo Safaris is great and definitely deserve your business. They will give you personalized service and attention bigger companies can't offer. Please do visit Rwanda as it is a beautiful country with kind people and stunning landscapes!

I would highly recommend this tour. Serg and Fabrice go out of their way to make the experience special, letting us change pick up locations and plans last minute. Serg is very knowledgeable on the animals and the park so you will learn somehting too! It is a long day so be prepared for that, however it is worth every second, we ended up with 7 hours in the park and saw some amazing animals. The drive out to the park is also enjoyable seeing some of the local areas outside the main city.
