Moremi Game Reserve

In the very early morning we pick you at your hotel or lodge or the airport in Maun. The tour starts at 06:00h. Your highly trained and experienced guide introduces himself to you and after a short briefing you are heading to Moremi Game Reserve in the 4x4 gameviewing vehicle. You spend the whole day on a gamedrive. We enter the park through South Gate and immediately start the gameviewing on a drive going to Xinii Lagoon. From here we continue up north. How far you go is flexible and depends on sightings and what you decide with your guide. For lunch you have a short break with picnic lunch (packed lunch) in the bush. Then you continue your gamedrive until you return to Maun where you will arrive in the evening. This is an all-inclusive tour i.e. all park and gate fees, transfers and the full day gamedrive activity are included as well as packed lunch, bottled water and softdrinks. After booking this tour you just relax and enjoy teh experience and the sightings that the bush has for you. This was an absolutely amazing experience. We had booked the mokoro and game drive experience over 2 days with this company, and after consulting with them, decided to convert it into one night of wildcamping so we could get the most out of those experiences (and not spend all our time on the road between Maun and our destinations). It was absolutely incredible, and so well worth it. We really enjoyed our guide, and saw animals we’ve never seen in other game drives (including UP CLOSE of a gorgeous female lion and herd of elephant aunties protecting their babies - closer than we’ve ever been before). The mokoro tour was amazing - so peaceful and beautiful - and saw so many hippos up close! The wildcamping was much more comfortable than I was expecting - including the bush potty - I would definitely do it again. The food we were served was wonderful too. I can’t say enough good things about this company - this is a great experience.

It was an adventurous day of wildlife viewing. Our guide Lee was excellent and provided just the right amount of I formation about the environment and the animals.

Amazing day, giraffes and elephants on the track in. Within 30minutes of reaching the park we were 2.5 metres away from a leopard keeping an eye on the antelope. Drove for another 20 minutes to see a massive herd of Zebra drove around the corner to a pride of 4 lions looking well feed relaxing under a tree once again amazingly close. Then went in search of the painted wild dog low and behold we found a pack of this endangered species once again with a very good viewing point of them relaxing in the shade. All in one day is pretty amazing.

We had a great day on the game drive. The park entrance is 99km from Maun on a mostly bumpy road which is not pleasant but the park is worth the effort. Our driver Kenny did a wonderful job and tried to get us the best animal views possible. I'd recommend Kalahari Breeze Safari's for this tour. We saw a good range of animals.

Kalahari Breeze were brilliant. Booking was easy and clear and they answered questions quickly. Our guide Clifford and his assistant were great, friendly, informative and took good care of us. We did the 1 day Moremi drive but would happily have done a longer trip with them. Food was great, plenty for veggies and had a lovely lunch spot watching hippos. Can't recommend enough. It's a long drive from Maun to the park (3hrs each way) so if you have time would recommend overnight camping.

We went on an all day drive and saw lots of elephants, zebras, Hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, African wild dogs, and a leopard. A great experience that I would do again.

Chris and the guides were great. From the start of our day in the early morning to getting back in the late evening all the guides and staff were there to make sure our trip was as comfortable as possible. Communication was excellent, attitudes were friendly all around and the guides really gave their all trying to make sure we got the most out of our day. The best way to see Maun and Botswana is with the people who know it best!

Chris and his tour guides were incredible. Everything was on time and constant communication as provided for our booking. More than enough snacks and drinks and very accommodating tour guide staff who always made sure we were comfortable. Lots of game sightings and crew did their best to help us find a lion!

We had a fantastic game drive in Moremi Game Reserve. Chris from Kalahari Breeze Safaris was very kind and helpful and always kept us updated by email and WhatsApp, even advising on the weather forecast and what to wear for the trip. On the day, the weather forecast was for heavy rain throughout the day and Chris very kindly offered his 4x4 car rather than the usual open safari vehicle. It was a fair drive to the South Gate entrance to Moremi from our hotel in Maun but we got to see quite a lot of animals (including a male lion) before reaching there. We stopped for a quick packed breakfast at the South Gate before heading into the reserve (and later a packed picnic lunch). Clifford was our guide and driver and he was very knowledgeable and informative as well as being a great guy. We saw lots of animals up close (elephants, hippos, buffalo, giraffes, ostriches, warthogs, various types of antelope and lots of colourful birds). I would definitely recommend this tour and highly recommend doing it with Kalahari Breeze Safaris.

The Moremi Tour was brilliant. Like the Mokoro trip Chris put all his effort in to make this tour happen. I appreciated this Tour a lot bcs it s such an amazing experience for an european guy. We have been so lucky to see lions, elefants, hippos, zebras and so many more animals. My favorite one was this beautiful bird, called the lilac breasted roller. Btw you will learn a lot bcs Chris and his team know all the animals. And i enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere with them! I recommend this Trip 100% !
