Day 1 of your 10 Days Uganda Safari Tour & Holiday, on your arrival at Entebbe airport, you will be picked up by a driver guide from Paradise Adventure Vacations who will brief you about your safari and transfer you to your accommodation around Entebbe or Kampala. If time allows us either we can visit Entebbe botanical gardens or Kampala city tour where you will explore the historical places of Uganda such as Kabaka’s palace, Uganda National Museum, Namugongo martyr’s shrines, Kasubi tombs (One of the UNESCO’S recognized site) depending on your arrival time.

Day 2 of your 10 days Uganda Safari Tour & Holiday, Wake up for an early morning breakfast and begin your panoramic road drive northwest of Uganda through the famous Luwero Triangle with an en-route stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. It is the only place in Uganda where you can find these peaceful members of the big five family in the wilderness. On your arrival at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary, go for white rhino trekking adventure which will provide you with opportunities to explore them close to their feet. During your trekking, you have to keep your camera on standby such that you do not miss out any moment. After trekking, have a lunch break and continue your drive to Murchison falls national park,  the highlights of this park include; the roaring rapids of the Murchison, the rolling plains of Uganda’s largest national park where you will have the chance of viewing lions, giraffes, hartebeest, buffalo, and elephants.

Murchison Falls

Wake up for an early morning breakfast, prepare yourself for another exciting encounter. Day 3 of your 10 Days Uganda safari Tour & Holiday starts with an early morning game drive through different trails of the park like Albert trail, buligi trail and the Victoria trail. Here, you will meet eye to eye with different mammal species like Bufaloes, elephants, lions, leopards, bush barks, giraffes among others, return to your lodge for relaxation and lunch. Later in the afternoon, embark on an afternoon boat cruise upstream to the bottom of the falls, while on the cruise, you will see the Nile crocodiles resting on the shores, herds of hippos while in water, bird species like the black bee eater, grey crowned crane, marabou stork and many others, you will have a view of the magnificent Murchison falls as it roars and pours its waters through a narrow gorge. After the cruise, hike to the top of the falls for another breathtaking moment.

Kibale Forest National Park

Day 4 of your 10 days Uganda Safari Tour & Holiday will start with hot breakfast and then you will meet your driver to start your journey to Kibale Forest national park the primates capital of the World, the drive takes about 6 hours.  Kibale Forest national park provides home to over 13 primate species such as chimpanzees our closest relatives with 98.8% of human DNA, olive baboons, Red tailed monkeys, L’hoest’s monkey, Ugandan red colobus, Grey checked mangabey, De brazza’s monkey, Bush babies etc. You will arrive at Kibale National Park in the evening, where you will check-in at your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Kanyanchu Visitor Center

Day 5 of your 10 days Uganda Safari Tour & Holiday, Rise up early in the morning to have breakfast and transfer to the park information center for briefing by the park ranger who will explain the rules and regulations.  You will then go out on a trek looking for chimpanzees .During the course of your chimpanzee trekking, expect to see a lot of primate species like chimpanzees, black and white Columbus monkeys and others, and many bird species, reptiles as well as a colorful variety of butterflies, after meeting chimpanzees, you will spend an hour with them and return to the Lodge for lunch. After lunch, visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary from where you will go on a guided walk to see beautiful flora and sauna. View a variety of butterflies like Euphaedra preussi · Cyclophora diplostica, a Geometrid moth · Kallimoides rumia; Cymothoe lurida · Euphaedra harpalyce · Brown pansy.  Birds like African pied wagtail, Great blue turaco, Pin-tailed whydah, Slender-billed weaver.

Queen Elizabeth National Park

Wake up early in the morning and start your Day 6 of your Uganda Safari Tour & Holiday with a heavy delicious breakfast and prepare for the famous Chimpanzee Trekking experience. Wear appropriate clothing for the activity like a long sleeved shirt, a pair of karky or jean trousers, water proof boots, a round cap and a heavy sweater to protect you from the tree branches and also in case of bad weather.  Carry in your back packs some snacks and drinking water to help in keeping you hydrated during the trek since it may take about 1 to 5 hours to find these Chimpanzees depending on their location. Proceed to Kanyachu visitor center where you will be briefed about the Do’s and the don’t’s of the park, you will be assigned a chimpanzee group to look out for and also a park ranger to help you during the trek. During the trek, you will encounter various primates like the black and white colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys, blue monkeys, Olive baboons, L’Hoest’s monkeys, Red colobuses.

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Have breakfast then set off for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park – famously known for its resident tree-climbing lions. The chance of spotting these lions is about 70% though sometimes they are really hard to spot (most especially when they’re down in the grassland looking for prey). Hoping you get the chance to spot them, the sight will be spectacular! Continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Bwindi is a big habitat for mountain gorillas in Uganda (harboring an estimated 400 mountain gorillas – roughly half of the world’s population) including several habituated groups, which can be tracked. With a strenuous day ahead, you will do less on arrival but just check in your accommodation, relax as you prepare for the Bwindi gorilla trekking experience the following day. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After an early breakfast and a briefing by a ranger guide, you will enter the gorilla sanctuary for your adventure. The beauty of this rain forest is spectacular! The area offers dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Once you locate a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long savored. Return to your lodge. Have your lunch and thereafter check out for a transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Lake Bunyonyi is framed by lush, green-terraced hills that reach a height of (2,200 – 2,478m) but it’s the 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the water that make it most magical — you could admire them all day. Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast, you will leave Lake Bunyonyi on day 9 of your Uganda Safari Tour & Holiday and drive to Lake Mburo National Park, one of Uganda’s smallest but most beautiful national parks. The drive from Lake Bunyonyi to Lake Mburo National Park is approximately 4 to 5 hours. Lake Mburo is famous for having the largest population of Zebras and Impalas in Uganda. It is made of seasonal swamps, woody Savannah grassland that is dominated by acacia and Lakes.  Upon arrival,   you will check into your lodge, have lunch and later go for your evening to night game drive where you will spot various wildlife species like Impalas, buffaloes, bush pigs, leopards, warthogs, baboons, and hippos etc. The game drive typically takes about 2-3 hours, depending on the sightings and your interests. Make sure to wear appropriate clothes and shoes for the drive and later, return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Lake Mburo National Park

After Breakfast on Day 10 of your Uganda Safari Tour & Holiday, you will head for the horseback ride for about 2 to 3 hours, to see the mammals at close range while on the horse after which you will head back to have your delicious lunch and then check out to start your return journey to Kampala. Thus the end of your 10 Days Uganda Safari Tour & Holiday.
