Leave Mombasa on safari to Ngutuni Sanctuary which borders with Tsavo East National Park and game drives at Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Meet your driver/guide and depart from your hotel around 6am. Drive North, along the main highway towards Nairobi, following the route of the railway line built by the British, late in the nineteenth century. The road passes through the warehouses and workshops on the outskirts of Mombasa, climbing steadily and soon the vast plains of Tsavo become visible in the distance, with the rolling Taita Hills on the horizon. Enter Ngutuni Sanctuary for a game drive which borders with Tsavo East National Park. Lunch at Ngutuni Lodge overlooking a waterhole. Afternoon proceed to the Taita Hills Sanctuary arriving at the Salt Lick Lodge, built on stilts overlooking a waterhole where animals come to drink. Around 4pm proceed on a game drive that beholds captivating views of the Taita Hills. The Sanctuary hosts varied species of birds and animals that include Lions, Elephants, Giraffe and Zebras returning to the lodge for dinner.
Ngutuni Lodge is located 15 minutes from Tsavo east main gate and 1hr from Tsavo west and Taita Hills. Ngutuni is one of the lodges situated in the land of history where the European army camped during the construction of the Kenya Uganda railway where many locals and Indians were eaten by the man-eaters of tsavo but the lodge has finally converted the guns into cameras.

5.00Was an amazing trip.. Spider was our guide an he knew everything about every animal!! My son and daughter will remember the trip for the rest of their lives and I very much appreciate everything he did to make us feel comfortable and safe!

5.00Beautiful animal tour departing from Watamu: visited East Tzavo, Taita Hills and West Tzavo. A more beautiful park than the other; we saw a lot of animals thanks to our super guide Omar who was very professional with very detailed explanations and very good driving. Omar number one!!

5.00Everything was amazing from start to finish. It is true that you are looking for wild animals, so you might not see some or not as many. But you need to get the guide Salim! He will do his best for you to see as much and have the best experience. Also he knows so much about the animals, with him it's like traveling with David Attenborough. Amazing

5.00Transfer by 4WD from Mombasa Airport to Tsavo East Park for first day of safari and overnight at Aruba Lodge. Second day transfer and second day of safari and overnight at Taita Hills. Everything perfect, Omar driver and perfect guide, explained and showed us everything!

5.00Safari between Tsavo East and Taita Hills! Our guide Awadi made us immerse ourselves in this wonderful world guiding us with confidence to meet all the animals! We were really lucky because we saw almost all the animals, but surely the great credit also goes to our super guide, attentive and precise! We had a really great time with him!

5.00The safari tour was a magical experience, thanks to our great tour guide Sayeed (I think that was his name. I travelled to Kenya solo and was hesitant on booking the safari but I am glad I did that I had Sayeed as the tour guide. Our tour guide helped us to spot the animals but I particularly liked how he used the analog clock as a guide (He would say … there’s an elephant at 12 o’clock … which made it soo much easier for us to spot). Sayeed gave us nuggets of information about Kenya along the journey. The drive was very long and he made sure to make sure everyone was informed along the way. I got to know him better especially his Yemen/Kenyan heritage and loved his pride he had for being Kenyan. The trip was amazing and I honestly have been raving about it to all my friends. Thank you Sayeed for a great experience … I’m glad we had you as a tour guide and I hope our paths will cross again if I ever come back to Kenya (hopefully before you retire).

5.00Safari days were wonderful, they made our honeymoon unforgettable. Our guide was super nice, kind and professional. He taught us so many things not only about the animals we met but also about the history of the parks and the culture of those who lived there.
