5.00I had a short tour to Mogadishu in November with Visit Mogadishu. It all worked out very well. My guide Mr Ahmed was extremely helpful. Mogadishu is a complicated kind of place, so I was very glad to have an experienced guide who could safely navigate me through it all. The city is currently much safer than news reports sometimes make it sound, but it's still useful to have someone who knows where to go (or not go) and how to handle the various security checkpoints, especially if issues emerge. It was also great to get Mr Ahmed's perspectives on the city, and on perceptions vs realities. Visit Mogadishu handled all the paperwork for my Somali eVisa, which was a big help. All I needed to do was send them my passport scan and a photo and they handled the rest. I normally travel independently, but for Mogadishu, I am very glad I signed up with Visit Mogadishu.

5.00⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – Excellent Experience! Mr Ali and Omar Translator Ahmed is very good people for the hospitality I had an amazing stay at Mogadishu Ocean Hotel. The location is beautiful, with a stunning view of the ocean that creates a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff are exceptionally friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The food was delicious, fresh, and offered a variety of choices. Security and safety measures are excellent, which made my stay worry-free. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers visiting Mogadishu – I will definitely come back!

5.00The visit exceeded my expectations in every way. In two days I visited not only the beauty of Mogadishu, but also the beautiful beaches outside the capital. Everything worked 100%. The whole stay was enhanced far beyond the borders by my guide Ahmed, who not only has perfect English but also local knowledge that pushed this trip beyond expectations.

5.00I had two amazing days in Mogadishu with Visit Mogadishu. Thanks to my guide Ahmed I had possibility to know and experience the daily life in Somalia’s capital beyond the Green Zone. Ahmed is an excellent knowledgeable young guy who loves his country. His knowledge of Somali history and politics is just amazing. On top of that contrary to many other African countries he’s been always on time and kept all his promises. I can’t recommend his services more. Thank you Ahmed this way one more time! Thanks to people like you your country may look forward with certain degree of optimism!

5.00Thanks to Visit Mogadishu, Omar and Ali who are so supportive for my trip and it was so amazing. Also, the driver, Ali and two security guards made my Somalia trip become safe. It let me have a look to the true side of Somalia that is completely different from the media reported. 5.00Went there during Ramadan. It felt entirely and completely safe. The company is run very well and the organization is great. I highly recommend visiting Mogadishu and I only recommend Visit Mogadishu as a tour agency when visiting Somalia. Note that I visited during Ramadan, streets are less crowded I think but it is an experience in and of itself to have Iftaar with Somalians and to enjoy the Ramadan vibes in the country. Finally, I highly recommend staying in Ocean Hotel which is owned and run by Visit Mogadishu as you will have direct access to the people running your tours. My tour guide was Mr Ahmed who was excellent. He was always on time, respectful, easily adjusted to my requirements, and has excellent knowledge of Somalia and Somalians abroad (having, himself, lived abroad for a few years)! I would highly recommend that you request Mr Ahmed!
