Nui Mắt Thần
At 7:30 am you will be picked up at your hotel/homestay by our tour guide/driver, then stop at about 10' at Green Riders House to finalize the motorbike gear (helmet/knee and elbow pads, paperwork, ...) 8am: Tour departure. 9am: Arrive at Mount Angel Eye, if the weather allows, we drive/walk to the valley and hike up to the eye of the mountain, this mountain is also known as Núi Thủng, meaning a mountain with a through-going hole, which is 50m in diameter and 50m above the ground. The mountain is located in the heart of the valley between Thang Hen Lake complex of the Non Nước Cao Bằng UNESCO Global Geopark, which features a charming landscape with immense grasslands (in dry season) and green lakes (in rainy season).
Trung Khanh
At 11 am: We drive to Trung Khanh and have lunch in this town. After having lunch, we drive through Phong Nam Valley and the local villages. We enjoy the peaceful countryside scenery, the farmers working in the fields, herds of grazing buffalos, and endless limestone mountains. Later we head to Ngoc Con and hike up to a viewpoint, in this stunning valley, you will find impressive mountains with stretch-out rice fields, picturesque villages of minorities and a calm, beautiful river running through it.
Trung Khanh
At around 4:30 pm, we will visit Truc Lam Buddhist temple which is located on Phia Nham mountain, and get the panoramic view over the valley, Ban Gioc waterfall, and Chinese border. At 5 pm we head to the nearby homestay to check in, have dinner, and stay overnight there.

Nguom Ngao Cave
After breakfast, we drive to Nguom Ngao Cave or Tiger Cave, Nguom Ngao means “Tiger Cave” in the Tay ethnic language. Once entering the cave, you will be amazed at strangely shaped stalactites. Nguom Ngao is home to multiple limestone chambers, floors, stairs, and corridors in various sizes, along with stalactites and stalagmites in diverse shapes such as a coral reef, a ship, a waterfall, an overturned lotus flower, and a terraced field. All give this cave magnificent and fantastic beauty.
Ban Gioc Waterfall - Detian Falls
At around 10 am, we head to Ban Gioc waterfall, the 4th largest transnational waterfall on earth which is shared by Vietnam and China, upon arrival, we will take a raft to immerse the majesty and beauty of nature.
Quang Uyen
We found our lunch in Trung Khanh, then headed to Phuc Sen forcing village, where local craftsmen still work manually, mainly based on long-term experience from choosing raw materials, how to forge steel to apply their own know-how to create products such as knives, scissors, hoe, sickle... of premium quality. The village is filled with the sounds of workers beating and hammering steel as they forge knives using traditional techniques and recycled materials.
Quang Uyen
We keep moving to Dia Tren paper village which has 65 households practicing the craft of traditional papermaking, a tradition preserved for many generations inside the Nung An ethnic group. If we are lucky, we can witness how Nung An people produce paper from the bark of May Sla (local language) with numerous steps and listen to the story about it. with the opportunity to buy some souvenirs like the fans, notebooks, or some sheets of paper that are used for drawing or writing calligraphy.
Quang Uyen
We keep moving to Phia Thap, where the Nung An people produce incense sticks from natural materials. Incense plays an important role in Vietnamese daily life. During the sunny day, you can see they dry the incense on all the roads of the village. Head to Cao Bang City, drop you off at your hotel, say goodbye, tour ends.
