The tour guides are the best, especially Anthony. I feel so welcomed and well-taken care of by them. Just book a tour, you will love it like the way I do. ❤️

I’ve seen pictures and paintings of the Ban Gioc Waterfall since I was a little girl. I’m beyond grateful to Anthony and his team for providing this tour service. Everyone we met were inviting and the sights were a MUST SEE in person! Viet was my motorbike driver and at first I was nervous about riding around. I was recording with one hand and holding on to the back by the end of the day!

  • Best decision to come to this tour

Coming all the way from Hanoi for this tour was the best decision. The tour guides are the sweetest people, they are very fun, kowledgeable and make you feel like at home. Importantly, the tour is much more than the Ban Gioc waterfall (which is beautiful!). It is an authentic day full of great & local food, picteresque bike (or car) rides, great company and nicely chosen stops and activities during the whole day. I would 100% recommend this tour :)

This tour was the best, most personalized tour I've ever taken! Anthony is so hospitable and made sure we were comfortable and treated well. He introduced us to places off the beaten path in addition to the destinations on the itinerary. He took us up close to the falls and showed us nontourist ways. This Cao Bang/Ban Gioc tour was the perfect combo of sightseeing adventure meets real culture. The local food spots are top notch!

  • Cheap and cheerful, but missing some advertised features

Ha Long Bay is great and a must do if you’re in Hanoi/north Vietnam. Linh, our guide, was nice. Main course is fish - if you don’t eat fish, you can choose a vegetarian option. It was alright - there are definitely boats with better food but it was plentiful. Some minor complaints about the tour: I thought bottled water was included in the tour per the ad on Viator but we were told once on the boat that no drinks were included. This was a little disappointing as it was quite hot and we were only offered 1 bottle of water when we first boarded the bus in Hanoi. It makes for a long, hot day if you don’t then buy some more. Additionally, there was no bar or way to buy drinks except when one of the staff members went round with a tray selling them (this happened 3 times in the whole 5.5 hours we were on the boat). Bit odd and awkward. The ad on Viator says the bus to the boat has “wifi, cold water, LCD screen and instrumental music”, but it literally didn’t have any of that. No wifi makes for a long drive. Finally, the ad says there is a ‘sunset party’ but we weren’t even in Ha Long come sunset, so I’m not sure what that’s about. There isn’t a sunset party, so that’s a little misleading. This is a good tour, but you get what you pay for. My advice would be to spend a little extra for an overnight trip or a nicer boat.
