Ban Gioc Waterfall - Detian Falls
Morning - 7:00: Car and tour guide pick up the guest at the meeting point (can pick up guests at their hotel within Cao Bang city) 7:30: Depart for the tour, on the way you can admire the Northeast mountains. Along the way, you can stopped to rest, take pictures of the beautiful scenery on the route the car passed. 8:30: The group stops to check in at Ma Phuc Pass 9h00: Visit Phuc Sen forging village where local making knife 10:30: Move to Truc Lam Pagoda (View the view point of Ban Gioc Waterfall from above) 11h00: Check in Ban Gioc Waterfall - Take a boat on the river to see the nearest waterfall. + Ban Gioc Waterfall: One of the most majestic waterfalls located right on the border separating the two countries Vietnam and China, with huge water blocks 30m high, looking like three beautiful white silks from afar.

12:30: Lunch break at a local restaurant to enjoy the incredible cuisine of Cao bang traditional food 13h30: The group moves to explore Nguom Ngao Cave + Nguom Ngao Cave: Admire the "Four Pillars of Heaven" area with stone pillars against the sky, the treasure area is the mountains of stalactites glittering with gold and silver. Some of the activities guests can participate in include: Trekking and walking: guests can walk around the cave and enjoy the beautiful pictures created by natural underground water and stalactites formed over thousands of years. Nguom Ngao Cave has many important cultural relics and can be visited to learn about the traditional history of the local area. Nature Storytelling: Professional guides will tell stories about nature and provide information about the animals and creatures that live in the local area. Guests can enjoy the natural environment, immerse themselves in the sounds of the underground springs and mingle with nature.

5.00Amazing experience, because of the loop itself, but also because of the amazing and very safe drivers. The steps of the one day loop are perfect if you are in a rush but you still want to see that region of Vietnam. The organisation of eco travel is also perfect !

5.00Together with a friend I did the Cao Bang 1 day tour with Easydrivers and this was FANTASTIC!! Tho and Manh both provided a great experience, a safe feeling and talkative landscapes. They took us to beautiful places, spoke good English and gave us the best experience!!

5.00Some other plans fell through so I booked a tour the day before, and I was surprised at how organized and quick to respond this tour group was. The tour itself was very well-paced and not rushed at all. I highly recommend booking with these guys if you visit Cao Bang.

5.00My boyfriend and I did the 4-day tour. Everything was very well organized. So we could also book the bus ride to Cao Bang via Eco Travel. On the mopeds we were driven by Phi and Hung. We always had a safe feeling and it was a lot of fun. Phi told us a lot about the sights and answered all our questions. It was nice to eat Vietnamese food with them and to get to know the tradition of “Happy Water”. The accommodation and meals differ little between the individual providers. We have met people from other tours time and time again. We got stable rainwear and helmets with visors for the tour. This is not a given and saved us on a rainy day!

5.00I contacted this company prior to leaving the UK for our 4week holiday to Vietnam & Cambodia. After reading about the beauty of north Vietnam, my wife and I decided that the 'Cao Bang' loop was best as it was not 'tourist infested' and had so many beautiful sights to see. EcoTravel in Cao Bang is run by Ly and her family (Lu, Loc & Hung) who are so keen and helpful with organising accommodation, tours for one, two or three day trips to see the craft villages, Ban Giok waterfall, Lion's cave, Angel Eye Mountain etc. An added bonus is they run the best pizzeria in town! For your upcoming tour to this amazing part of Vietnam, I have no hestation in recommending Cao Bang Eco Travel.

5.00Wonderful experience from start to finish. Our guide Tho was amazing and gave us lots of explanation. Visits in local village were real visits and the waterfall was amazing 😍. We chose the motor bikes and drivers were careful and efficient. I would definitely recommend the team and the journey.

5.00Absolutely unforgettable day in Cao Bằng! Bản Giốc Waterfall was even more beautiful than the photos — such a peaceful and powerful place. Angel Eye Mountain was incredible too, like something out of a fantasy movie. The guide was friendly and full of great local knowledge, and the journey through the countryside was just as amazing as the main sights. Totally worth the long drive — this tour is a must-do if you love nature and stunning landscapes!

5.00We had an amazing day on the back of the bikes! Our guide, Hui, was so enthusiastic and sweet! We all loved him! We were picked up at our hotel right on time. Really liked all the stops and the route was absolutely beautiful 😍. The villages were interesting to see and drive through. It was also nice to get on the water to get so close to the waterfall! We also went to the lake, had a coffee and it was so relaxing. My favorite part of the day was the angel eye mountain! It was just magical, the buffalos just chilling and the local family was so happy! Overall a great experience and I would definitely recommend doing this tour when you are in Cao Bang!
