They often depict the history and political views of both traditions and are a way of marking territory. These wall paintings often look intimidating but they have become as much of a tourist attraction as many of the regular attractions within Belfast and beyond.

We had a 2 hour tour with Ricky. He was amazing! Really friendly and very knowledgeable! We had opportunities to stop and look at different murals and signed our names on the peace wall. Ricky answered any questions we had and we all really enjoyed, a very informative and moving, experience

Stephen was enthusiastic and informative. He covered all the bases. Took us all around Belfast and gave us an unbiased account of the history. He made sure we had enough time to get pictures and answered all of our questions. Good safe driver, clean car. Native to Belfast so he has a lot of personal experience as well. Don’t miss this informative and interesting tour.

Stephen was our guide and he was absolutely excellent. He would pull over the taxi and explain in detail what had happened in certain buildings. He even had color photographs to show us. It’s probably one of the best tours I’ve had in my life.

We did the 2 hour Wall Mural and Peace tour this morning with Brendan. He was so knowledgeable and informative and very friendly. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who comes to Belfast.

Our driver was Ricky. We thought this tour was fantastic - everyone coming to Belfast should do this tour. We are from Australia and it was a real eye opener and something we will talk about for years to come. Excellent knowledge and gave us a different prospective to what we had heard growing up.

Thank you Brendan and Black Taxi Tours for such a moving, unforgettable experience. From minute 1, Brendan was aware of my Dad’s mobility issues and made he felt comfortable and ease throughout the tour. But beyond that, the depth of knowledge and quality of conversation allowed us to learn so much about Belfast’s history and what it can teach us.
