Every city has it’s shopping and coffee culture but Belfast city has a unique past after coming out of 30 years of conflict.Your guides are the original drivers who had to transport their communities through the bullets and bombs of THE TROUBLES and have their lives at risk every time they seat in their black cabs.
The North of Ireland has become famous for the murals painted in almost every area of the country . These pictures of IRA ,UVF murals are often flashed around the world on news bulletins or used as a backdrop when interviewing people. They often depict the history and political views of both traditions and are a way of marking territory. These wall paintings often look intimidating but they have become as much of a tourist attraction as many of the regular attractions within Belfast and beyond.

5.00The tour was one of the best experiences on our 4-week Trips, if not the best. There is no authentic way to learn about Belfast than on this tour. A big thank you to our driver who made this tour very special. We learned so much, were able to ask all our questions and will have long memories of the tour. The tour is very individual and also feasible with (somewhat larger) children. We are lastingly impressed. If you only do one tour in Belfast, it should be this one! Clear Recommendation.

5.00IIt was brilliant from the off hotel reception booked it.Sean turned up bang on time and in 2 hours increased our knowledge and understanding of the troubles immensely. Best 2 hours spent im a long time thanks to Seans insight, measured views, and experiences Can't praise him and our time other tour highly enough
It was in a Mini Van that the PA system didn't work in. I Would expect a Black Taxi Tour to actually be in a black taxi.

1.00When I book a tour called a Black Taxi tour, I would expect it to be in a black taxi, not a mini van.

5.00We cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Jake, our tour guide, was extremely informative giving us insight and knowledge that we did not have before. We were impressed with just how much was included in the tour. We will be recommending it to anyone we know visiting Belfast.

5.00Our guide JR was fantastic! He clearly led us through a history of the “Troubles”. JR pointed out details of the gates, walls and murals we would not have seen. We recommend JR with no hesitation. He has a good sense of humor too.
