Kigali Genocide Memorial

After your breakfast, Afri safaris guide will pick you up from your hotel or where you are staying in Kigali around 8h Am, with private safari vehicle after a short briefing then you will start a city tour heading to Kigali genocide memorial site, the tour ends at 10 am 10 am Leaving Kigali towards Akagera National Park for an estimated 2.5 - 3 hours drive with local expert driver guide by Afri Safaris. The transport is assured with a choice 4×4 safari vehicles with Wi-Fi connectivity to keep you connected with your lovely ones and the world.

11.30 am Stop by: Bashana Companies & Imigongo Art Center. 4F4C+C4J, Kayonza with 45 minutes stopover at Imigongo Art Center for lunch, coffee, restroom, snacks, check arts, handcrafts and relaxing.

Akagera National Park

12.30 pm After having lunch, you will then be transferred to Akagera National Park for an estimated 1 hour drive. 1:30 pm - 2 pm Clearing at the park entry & Reception 2 pm - 4 pm check-in at Hotel where you will freshen up, relax/swim and dinner. 4.30 pm - 6 pm Sunset Boat Departure The sunset boat trip in Akagera National Park departs daily from Lake Ihema at 4:30 PM for a roughly one-hour cruise, offering views of hippos, crocodiles, and a vibrant sunset. • Dinner & Overnight stay at Akagera Mantis Game Lodge The Akagera National Park is one of central Africa's last-remaining refuges for endemic savannah wildlife in Rwanda and the largest protected wetland in the region. Big 5 in Akagera National Park are one of the biggest attractions in Akagera whereby travelers get to see the Lions, Elephants, Buffalos, Leopards, and Rhinos.

Hot Air Balloon 5:40 am pick up from Hotel & one way to Hot air balloon Welcome breakfast while watching the preparation of balloon •Balloon ride is 45 minutes to 1 hour depends on wind direction. Always we’re doing only morning sunrise time. Visitors doing the hot air balloon tour in Akagera national park are expected to be at the takeoff place at 5:15 a.m. (this time will be altered depending on dawn time). Royal Balloon Rwanda staff will meet you & provide information as you watch the hot air balloon being prepared. While you are enjoying your early morning coffee and snack, our skilled pilots begin to fill the balloon, providing you with the opportunity to capture beautiful photographs. The experience concludes with a champagne celebration after landing, as is customary for hot air balloons, and the receipt of a flight certificate signed by our pilots as a memento of this amazing day. Guests are urged to wear covered shoes and, owing to the cold temperature, to bring a coat.

Akagera National Park

After your morning hot air balloon ride over Akagera National Park, you will begin a full-day game drive, traveling north through the park and stopping for a picnic lunch at the Mihindi Picnic area. This full-day activity allows you to see various animals, such as the "Big Five," grazing and hunting, and the day concludes with a drop-off at Karenge Bush Camp. 2 pm - 4 pm check-in at Hotel where you will freshen up, relax before a night Game drive in Kilala Plain the North of the Park. 5.30 pm - 8 pm Night Game Drive • Dinner & Overnight stay at Karenge Bush Camp

5 am before your breakfast then you'll be picked up by Afri Safaris driver guide and start an early morning safari game drive in Kilala plain and Nyamatete that will give you more chances to spot big cats and more nocturnal animals. 9:00 am- 9:30 am Breakfast 10 am checkout at hotel and one way back to Kigali with an estimated 3 - 3.5 hours drive Exit in the north of the park and one way back to Kigali.
