This safari starts in Maun - the gateway to the world famous Okavango Delta. The tour covers Okavango Delta. Activities include bush walks and mokoro safaris. We offer you a 4x4 safari converted vehicle as well as a professional guide - camping gear, all meals, bottled water will also be provided.

Okavango Delta
You will be picked up from your hotel or Maun Airport and transferred by motorboat or 4X4 vehicle to the Mokoro Station where you will be met by your professional guide or Poler. Take part in a short briefing about your trip and then begin your journey a mokoro.
Okavango Delta
You will travel along the channels of the Okavango Delta to spend some hours enjoying the beauty and vastness of the Delta. You will then settle in at your camp on one of the many Islands.

Upon arrival, the camp staff will have set up camp and your chef will have prepared lunch for you to enjoy before embarking on your afternoon bush walk or Mokoro excursion. Later in the evening, you will return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Mokoro, walking safari
Okavango Delta
You will spend two nights exploring the wilderness both on your mokoro and on walks. Before each day's activities you will have breakfast. We will explore most of the Delta from the mokoro and search for game of interest on foot during your walking safaris.

After morning activity you will go back to the camp and your lunch will be ready. After lunch you will do an afternoon activity and choose between a walking safari and a mokoro excursion.

Okavango Delta
You will wake up early, enjoy breakfast and then depart on your last bush walk. You will return to camp where you will enjoy lunch while the staff breaks camp.
Okavango Delta
You will then travel back to the Mokoro station for your motorboat or 4X4 vehicle pick up to return to Maun. This is where your safari will end.

5.00We had an amazingly interesting tour with Walking Stick Safari in the Okavango delta. Unfortunately we could not get to Chief Island, since there was not enough water in the river, - but the guys helped us to find an equally satisfying experience. We had mokoro trips and many walking tours in the savannah where we could discover animal and bird life in a close way. Experience of having long walks and discover elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, antilops and birds in their natural habitat without disturbing them was an unparallel experience. Obama, our guide proved to ba an excellend companion guide. During the 3 days we had our private cook Elecion, who was able to serve perfect and delicious lunches and dinners mad all on open fire. In the evenings we had great conversations with the guys and learned a lot about their life and preferences, just as well we told our life. We got good friends in the meantime. Thank you for all! :-)
