Departure from Marrakech in the morning, we will cross the high Atlas mountains, and the Tizi N-tichka pass. We head to Ouarzazate to visit the Kasbah Ait ben Haddou, passing through the beautiful Valley of Roses where we will make several stops to appreciate its beautiful panoramic views and take photos of the Berber villages, we will arrive at the Dades Gorges, where we will spend the first night.

Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, we will continue along the banks of Boulmane, where a road opens up dotted with kasbahs (citadel) and ksour (fortresses or castles), whose landscape is ocher, red and mauve. Around us we will find stony plateaus where dromedaries graze. After a journey full of ksour, oases and palm trees we will arrive at Tineghir (where the spectacular Todra gorges are located) perched at 1,350 m altitude and surrounded by a palm grove. We will continue towards Erfoud (city of fossils) and after passing through Rissani, we will reach Merzouga, in front of the Erg Chebbi dunes. At the hotel we will leave what we do not need and we will change the 4×4 vehicle for the camels to enter the desert, while the sun sets, until we reach the haima camp in the middle of the desert of high dunes, where we will have dinner and spend the night. under millions of stars.

We will return with our camels to the town to take a comforting hot shower at the hostel and we will continue on our way. We will take a tour of the exotic Rissani market (first imperial city in Morocco), the largest market in the south of Morocco. We continue the path through the DRRA Valley and visit the TAMNOGALT kasbah, in the heart of the Draa valley. We cross the High Atlas again to reach Marrakech at night.

It was a great experience. We got to know the dunes of the Merzouga desert. Guide Hamid spoke perfectly Spanish and told us a lot about Berber culture.

Journey to remember. We have been able to enjoy some spectacular days in the desert witnessing unique sunsets and under a great blanket of stars at night that leave you wondering. Our guide Hamid has been a great success, is fantastic, has taken us to places worth visiting, has always been attentive to make our trip the best possible and has taken great care of us throughout the journey. We only have words of thanks. We will certainly count on him for our next tour.

We have been a wonderful few days in the Erg-Chbbi desert guided by HAMID, a lovely, friendly and very professional person. At all times we were perfectly attended and made us a very complete circuit. There is no escape that we got the choice of guide right. We will repeat with him in our next circuits in Morocco.

I really have nothing left to thank you for this magnificent experience .. definitely had a great time, with this agency we felt very comfortable and gave us a lot of confidence... and what to say about Hamid our Guide who accompanied us during the private tour and who was very attentive at all times was teaching us things about his culture and natives .. he explained and gave us recommendations .. actually behaved very well .. the tour in the desert was great because also we were lucky enough to witness rain sandstorm sun etc , the wonderful hotels, we were from super comfortable luxury jaimas with everything you need to very nice and comfortable hotels and Riyadh so we lived several experiences and the delicious food .. definitely would come back again and more with trusted people like them .. thank you very much tourism in Morocco and Hamid for joining us in this beautiful experience .. we will return !!
