  This vendor ruined my trip to Botswana. I booked this activity with the vendor on March 4, 2024. The activity was supposed to start on October 13, 2024. Upon arriving in the country, I reached out to the vendor to confirm what time they would pick me up, and they said, “It was cancelled long time back.” I went to the platform from which I booked the activity, which still showed the activity as confirmed. Upon calling them, they said that the activity was not cancelled. I told them that the vendor insisted that they cancelled the activity, and after waiting on hold for 10 minutes, they said that the activity was in fact cancelled by the vendor. Fortunately, they refunded my money. The vendor would probably argue that they cancelled the activity and that it isn’t their fault that the company from which I booked didn’t notify me, but I think this leaves out the important context of the situation. I booked this activity 267 days in advance, and they accepted the booking at that time. I booked this activity for $496.50 in March, 2024, but the current price is $1,100 as of October, 2024. I travelled alone on this trip. When I asked the vendor why they cancelled the activity, they said, “We are fully booked in long trips all our cars and staff are in the parks in long trips.” When I asked the vendor when they cancelled the activity, they said they would get back to me, but then they never responded again to me. The platform from which I purchased wasn’t able to answer that question either. They simply said, “we can see that it was cancelled, but we can’t see when.” Given the limited information I’ve been able to gather, I believe that the vendor had the capacity to do my trip when I booked it, but they later received “better offers” from other tourists, i.e., more nights, more travelers, higher daily rate per person, etc., so they cancelled my trip to go with those that were more profitable for them. This practice is unacceptable, given that tourists are generally purchasing nonrefundable flights, nonrefundable hotel rooms, etc. Ultimately, I arrived in Maun without any planned activities and had to scramble to find a hotel and book activities, even though everything I really wanted to do was already sold out. DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING WITH THIS VENDOR. They may get a better offer from someone else, cancel your activity, and leave you scrambling.

  Being in a Mokoro in the narrow channels, seeing so many elephants, giraffes, funny pumas, being in a shady campsite, having nice company, trusting your experienced guide, having plenty of nice food prepared by a smiling cook. All made my experience in the Delta a memorable one!

  My colleague joined me for a 3 day camping safari to the Delta. This was her first trip to Africa and my first to the Delta. The whole trip was incredible. The bush hikes were the best part of the trip. Our guide, Phillip, is very knowledgeable and we learnt so much from him. Our Polers - Teddy and Legos (for the Mokoros) - were great fun, and our cook, Machine, made sure we were never hungry with his delicious meals. The views and the animals were, of course, spectacular.

  My friend and I had an absolutely amazing time on this safari experience. The guides were great and the chef was AMAZING. Some of the best meals we’ve had in Botswana and they were in the bush! The campsite they took us to was right on the water and absolutely magical. They were extremely accommodating and made sure that we had a great experience. I would definitely book this excursion again, although we did pay extra for the game drives which were very worth it and I would recommend if you can. Company is also locally owned which makes it better as you know the money you spend is going back into the local economy. Would definitely recommend booking with this great group of guys!

  Stayed at Motsebe backpackers in Maun it was fantastic and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.very good value for money and is close to town like walking distance.

  A most enjoyable relaxing but at the same time exciting adventure in the most serene of places. Wildlife abounds. Guide Phil was very professional and his knowledge and skill was evident. Camp facilities were comfortable and food freshly prepared by chef added to experience. Saw, too close, my first ever lioness in the wild on a early morning nature walk. Adrenaline rush!

  All arrangements were provided on time and professionally . The accommodation in tented camps with beds and toilet facilities were of a high standard . The meals were excellent given the circumstances ie 40 degree heat .

  We had a great experience with Outdoor African Safaris in their 3 day tour to the Okavango Delta. The communication beforehand was well organised and they were very responsive. One suggestion would be to make the last day slightly longer as it was more of a 2 days and a morning instead of 3 days.
