Our tour will begin with a meeting at the lobby of your hotel or a designated meeting point if your hotel is not within the area. We'll start our 6km walk on the main trail from the Petra Visitor Center, passing through the Siq to the Treasury. Next, we'll hike up a mountain for a panoramic view of the theater, followed by visits to the Royal Tombs, Colonnaded Street, and Qasr Al-Bint. This part of the tour typically takes around 3 hours, depending on your pace, with a minimum of 2.5 hours. Please note that climbing to the Monastery is not included in this itinerary. However, we can discuss visiting it towards the end of the tour. If you'd like to visit the Monastery, you'll need to climb 850 steps. Alternatively, you can return to the Visitor Center via the main trail, which takes around 1 to 1.5 hours. If you'd prefer not to walk back to the Visitor Center, optional golf carts are available from the end point of our tour to the Visitor Center for a fee of 25 JOD per person .

5.00Our trip to Petra was truly a memorable experience thanks to Basil, we have been to Petra before, but this visit was truly exceptional! He was extremely knowledgeable, impeccable communication skills and also engaging especially with our teenage kids. In addition to covering the main attractions of Petra, he also leveled up the tour by taking us off the beaten path to see some of the hidden gems of Petra.
