Brescia´s highest spot, enclosed into ancient walls, the castle started to be constructed in the 8th century AD. The view over the city center and the Northern mountains surrounding the city are just stunning. We will have a short walk through and into the walls to reach the highest and most breathtaking panorama

5.00Davide was a wonderful guide and showed me so many parts of Brescia. He has a lot of passion and knowledge of the city history. We visited the castle, churches, Roman ruins, and showed me small interesting historical areas.

5.00I cannot recommend this tour enough. Brimming with positive energy, Davide’s 3-hour tour flew by, leaving us craving more! He showed us everything from 1st century Roman ruins to medieval churches, from Renaissance frescoes to Mussolini-era architecture…with a 16th century library, “important” paintings, and contemporary sculpture thrown in, just in case we weren’t 100% blown away. (Spoiler alert: We were!!) His stories are fascinating, his insights are thought-provoking and his post-tour suggestions, for both food and additional sights, are spot on. Umbrella Tours and Davide were by far the best and brightest of our numerous tours over the course of 3 weeks. I cannot oversell this-DO NOT MISS!!!! Please Note: a couple of my photos are from our self guided post-tour exploration, following Davide’s suggestions.

5.00We took a 3-hour tour of Brescia with Davide. Davide is an incredible guide with deep knowledge of the city and history. We have discovered so many things about the little known and underrated city in Italy. David took us to the Old Cathedral, to the church of San Cristo and showed us the hidden meridian in the cloister. That's incredible! David made us fall in love with the city. We entered the hidden and beautiful places like the library. Thank you so much for such an interesting excursion.

5.00We had a tour with Davide in historic Brescia. Davide is a very knowledgeable guide. He showed us the most interesting places in Brescia and told about most interesting facts from Brescis history. And the drinks in the end were great. I definitely recommend Davide as a tour guide

5.00Davide is a great guide, providing lots of historical and general background information. We really enjoyed the tour (despite 34 deg C) with Davide who guided us to the main sites, always found shade to make the walking easier in the heat. The drink at the end lasted an hour comparing notes on places we both visited. Very enjoyable, highly recommended! Frank & Magda

5.00Chiara was a pleasant and knowledgeable tour guide, really brought Brescia to life for us. She was especially flexible with us as we ran into traffic and were delayed on arrival. Such an underrated city for its history, churches and ruins. And nowhere near the crowds as the usual big 3 cities. Highly recommend if you’re looking to explore real Italian culture and history without the crowds.
