Tetes Cave

Travelers will wake up early for a 4WD jeep adventure to Mount Bromo’s sunrise viewpoint (such as Kingkong Hill or Penanjakan). From here, guests can witness one of Indonesia’s most iconic views: the sun rising above the misty Tengger caldera, with Mount Bromo and Mount Semeru in the background.

Continue the jeep ride across the vast “Sea of Sand” desert and Pura Luhur Poten to reach Mount Bromo. Travelers can walk (or take a horse ride at personal expense) to the crater rim. At the top, enjoy the surreal scenery and look inside the steaming crater of this active volcano.

We depart from the hotel 30 minutes before midnight and drive to Paltuding Area. Travelers will start the hike around midnight (approx. 2:00 AM) to witness the world-famous blue fire phenomenon inside Mount Ijen’s crater. It usually takes 2 hours hiking. Accompanied tour guide, guests trek up the volcano in the cool night air and carefully descend into the crater to see the mesmerizing natural blue flames caused by burning sulfur gas.

After witnessing the blue fire, travelers can stay at the crater rim to admire the turquoise acidic lake, dramatic volcanic landscape, and sunrise over East Java. Watch local sulfur miners carrying heavy loads, offering a glimpse into their unique way of life.

5.00Did the 3D Tumpaksewu – Bromo – Ijen tour and honestly it was an amazing experience. Everything felt well paced and not rushed at all. Tumpaksewu Waterfall was beautiful and still very natural, definitely one of my favorite spots on the trip. Seeing the sunrise at Bromo was unreal, the views were incredible and the atmosphere was super calm. The trip ended at Ijen Crater, where we saw the blue fire and the lake, something I will never forget. The guide was friendly and helpful, transportation was comfortable, and the whole trip was well organized. Would definitely recommend this tour if you want to see the best of East Java in a short time.

5.00I booked a 3D2N Trip to Tumpaksewu Waterfall, Mt. Bromo and Ijen Crater with my friends. We all had a good time and our guide Nadal was very friendly, helpful and nice to hang with. The hotels where we stayed were also good and comfortable. The driver was driving well and we were also very flexible on the way and could stop on the shops/ATM/toilets when needed. It was well organized trip and I admire the punctuality of the guide and the driver. I could recommend booking a trip from them :) P.S they decorated the car front side with a flower as small celebratory wedding gift for our friends 🥰

5.00We just finished the 3D2N trip to Tumpak Sewu, Mount Bromo, and Mount Ijen, and it was truly an amazing experience!!! Playing in the waters of Tumpak Sewu was very incredible. This Tumpak Sewu Waterfall is absolutely stunning. Then we continued to Mount Bromo and Mount Ijen. The sunrise at Mount Bromo is simply breathtaking, and the Ijen crater offers a unique and unforgettable view. A big thanks to the team organizing this trip. They handled everything perfectly. The driver was highly skilled navigating the roads to Mount Bromo and Ijen Crater. The price is very reasonable for everything you get, and this trip absolutely deserves 5 stars!

5.00My family and I had a wonderful time during visit to Tumpak Sewu, Mount Ijen and Mount Bromo recently. Thank you Lanscape Bromo for providing a very good service in arranging the iteniery, nice and comfortable accommodation and transport. Everything went smoothly from they 1st day of contact, which is about 3 months before the trip, until we safely boarded our flight home. A special thank to our friendly guide, Mr. Alhan, who went to the extra mile to ensure all of us were not only able to reach all the destinations, as per iteniary, but safely too. Alhan also guided us where the best spots to take photo and we came back with more than 1000 photos. Thumb up Landscape Bromo for providing an economy package with 1st class services. Highly recommended.

5.00We took the tour with our guide Nadal and our driver Tirtu. Nadal spoke English very well and explained a lot to us. During the long car journeys we talked about everything possible and it was always fun and entertaining. At first we went up the Bromo with thousands of other people, but unfortunately it was too cloudy to see the beautiful sunrise. On the second day we went to the impressive waterfalls and on the last day we climbed into the crater of Kawah Ijen with its blue fires. All in all a nice tour with our dear Nadal. He also helped us to buy the tickets for the ferry to Bali and took us directly to the ferry. He even organized another driver in Bali to take us to Bingin. Thank you Nadal and Tirtu! 😊

5.00The tour was absolutely perfectly planned. We could indicate where we wanted to be picked up and taken after the tour. The driver and guide were also very professional. The driving style in Indonesia takes some getting used to, but we felt safe at all times. The vehicle was relatively new and big enough for a total of five people including luggage. The guide spoke very good English and could provide a lot of background information. We are very happy to have found this tour and would book it again anytime!
