A 4-day safari classic, covering the 3 most famous and exquisite parks of Tanzania: Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater. This social trip is ideal for travelers on a budget that want to share the cost of safari.
On this trip you can spot lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, hyenas, wildebeest, impalas, bird species, hippos, crocodiles, ostriches, tortoises, monkeys, warthogs and many other lovely creatures.
This includes Serengeti’s endless plains in all their wild glory (famous for the big cats), Majestic elephant herds and a beaming baobab landscape in Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation area with its magnificent views. We will drop you off at your chosen location in the end of the safari.

Tarangire National Park
We will pick you up at your accommodation in Arusha at 8.30 in the morning. We will drive to Tarangire National Park for game drives. We will reach the Tarangire Park gate at around 11am, after a 2.5 hour drive. Tarangire National Park owes his name to the Tarangire river that crosses the park. This river draws animals to the park during the dry season. This park is famous for its herds of elephants and magnificent baobab trees. Here you'll find elephants, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, lions, hyenas and more. We will spend about 6 hours in the park, including a picnic lunch. We will exit the park around 5pm and drive for about 1 hour, passing through Maasai lands, to the accommodation. • Expert Advice: Avoid wearing dark colors to Tarangire National Park. Insects are plentiful here, and they are drawn too dark colors such as black and dark blue. • Highlight: Majestic elephant herds and beaming baobab landscape in Tarangire National Park

Serengeti National Park
After breakfast at around 9am we will start our drive to Serengeti National Park, passing through Ngorongoro Highlands. The drive to the Serengeti gate is about 3 hours, yet worry not: You will be able to spot wildlife on the drive there already, and the drive is scenic. We will enter the park around 12am. The Serengeti’s endless plains provide an exceptional landscape for wildlife viewing. With its 30.000 km² (12.000 sq mi) of breathtaking plains, the Serengeti is one of the ten Natural Travel Wonders of the World. Due to its diverse habitats, the Serengeti is home to a broad variety of wildlife. Besides the great migration of wildebeest and a large population of lions, you can also spot zebras, warthogs, leopards, giraffes, gazelles, buffalos, impalas, hyenas, cheetahs, elephants, hippos & much more. We will spend about 6 hours doing game drives in the park, including a picnic lunch. Around 5pm we will head to the Seronera area for dinner and overnight.

Serengeti National Park
We will start our day bright and early at 6am , with game drives in the morning and en route along the way as we exit Serengeti drive to Ngorongoro. Game drives will last 6 hours, including a picnic lunch. Dinner & overnight on Ngorongoro crater rim, with the most breathtaking views on the crater. • Expert advice: bring warm clothes for this day, as the crater rim is elevated and it can get chilly! • Highlight: Serengeti’s endless plains in all its wild glory

Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast we will descend into the crater for the game drives around 7am. We will spend about 6 hours in the crater doing game drives, including a picnic lunch at the hippo pool picnic site at the crater floor. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a UNESCO world heritage site and one of the Seven Natural Wonder of Africa. The crater encloses an area of more than 8000 km² (3200 sq mi), with spectacular views as a result. The crater is home to lions, buffaloes, hippos, flamingos, wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, leopards, rhinos, hyenas, elephants and many more. In the afternoon, around 1pm, we will ascend the crater and drive back to Arusha. We will drop you off at your accommodation in Arusha. • Highlight: Ngorongoro Conservation area with its magnificent views, UNESCO World Heritage Site

5.00We camped with a group for 4 days. The public campsites had all the facilities you would need. Hearing lions roaring through the night was a cool experience. Our chef cooked fabulous meals and our guide was knowledgeable. The low light pollution in the areas we camped made for amazing night photography.

5.00The safari we booked with Golden Dream Safari was superb! Very well organised, clear information and excellent communication from Victor. We choose the 5 day camping safari experience and visited all the beautiful parks (Tarangire 1 day / Serengeti 2 days / Ngorongoro 1 day / Lake Manyara 1 day). Our driver Jef and chef Noely were fantastic. We had the best days ever, saw the big five and so many more animals. Really recommend this Golden Dream safari’s!

5.00This was a trip of a lifetime. Not only did we have an amazing guide, we also saw the big 5 and met some new great friends along the way. I highly recommend putting yourself out there and try tenting. Everything is supplied for you and hearing the animal sounds made the night much more memorable. The sunset and sunrise were beautiful at the camps. To top it all off, the food was amazing. Breakfast lunch and dinner were different every day and very good.

5.00Golden Dreams is the perfect choice for an unforgettable safari experience. From start to finish, our trip was nothing short of incredible—a true once-in-a-lifetime adventure. If you're searching for the right safari company, look no further—Golden Dreams is it! Couple of things that really stood out: 1. We were a group of 8 (4 couples) and they were able to craft a custom itinerary for us with 2 vehicles so that we were comfortable. We also wanted to stay in some of the higher end luxury lodges that we researched before picking a company, and Victor (the owner) was able to build an itinerary around this while also doing all of the bookings. They handled every part of the planning once we did finalized an itinerary and picked our dates. 2. They are a local company so it's a much more authentic experience and it was also more affordable than other quotes I received. We were lucky enough to have the owner Victor as one of our our guides which was awesome, but his team members Rose and Ruben were great as well. The guides matter a lot in terms of experience, knowing where to go, talking with other guides, and Golden Dreams definitely delivered. They were also fun and easy-going which was great for a group of 8 friends like us. 3. In terms of animals, we saw more than we can even count and pictures don't do it justice. Saw all of the Big 5 within a day or two, as well as predators hunting throughout the day. It's an unbelievable and unforgettable experience that I'd recommend to anyone who is interested.

5.00We had a wonderful experience planning our trip with Victor and working with his team. We were able to see the big 5 (rhinos from a distance, but still counts!) and had a blast getting to know the people on our trip with us. If you have the privilege to go on safari in Tanzania and want to support a Tanzanian-owned safari business, we definitely think you should go with Golden Dream. It was affordable, the food was delicious, and the experience was truly unforgettable from top to bottom. We will be back!

5.00A big thank you to Victor and his team! Communication with Victor throughout the whole booking process was always professional, quick, clear and very easy. He goes above and beyond for all of his clients and played a huge part in making our holiday amazing. We could not recommend him more! Our safari was the most incredible once in a life time trip. Our amazing driver, Stanley, was very knowledgeable and great at spotting animals and knew exactly where to find them! He gave us plenty of time to watch and take pictures of the animals and did not rush us. We were also super lucky to have a fantastic chef who travelled with us and we got to experience a variety of delicious fresh home cooked Tanzanian meals which made the experience even more incredible. We joined a group and made some friends on the way! We also booked our transfers to and from the airport, as well as a hot springs excursion through Victor. Everything was well planned and organised and we always felt safe and well cared for. Thank you Victor for everything, we hope to be back soon!
