You will be picked up by your driver-guide at the airport or your city hotel in the morning and driven to the beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park. On the way, you will have a brief stop at the Mai Mahiu viewpoint to see the Great Rift Valley. On arrival, you will have game drives. Later check-in at your head lodge and have lunch. After lunch and a short rest, you will embark on a afternoon tour of the beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park. Back to the lodge in the evening. Located on the floor of the Rift Valley and considered bird watchers paradise, lake Nakuru national park hosts a huge variety of birds. Also found here is endangered Rothschild giraffe, white and black rhino among other wildlife. Other attractions include baboon cliff, lion hill and makalia water falls.

After breakfast at the lodge, you will depart for Masai Mara. On arrival, you will have an en-route game drive as you proceed to the lodge where you will check in and have lunch. After lunch and a short rest, you will have an afternoon game drive. Back to the lodge in the evening for dinner. After dinner you can relax around a fireplace being entertained or head to your room. The Masai Mara is the most famous reserve due to its large population of wildlife. It is one of the few places where all of the "Big Five’" are found. This park also boasts 470 species of birds and rare animals like roan antelopes and nocturnal bat-eared foxes. You will also see the beautiful lilac-breasted roller which is Kenya’s national bird.

Our game drive starts soon after breakfast when we again head deep into the wild in search of its thrills and spills. A balloon safari can be arranged for this day. Like the evening game drive, morning drives are very rewarding in terms of wildlife and riveting scenery. You can expect immense multitudes of the Big Five, hippos, giraffes, antelopes, gazelles, impalas, and wildebeests. The birds aren’t shy either as the kingfisher, hornbill, secretary bird, and kori bustard are expected to appear. At noon, we gather under the signature acacia tree in the Mara for a delicious packed lunch. After ward, our game drive continues with an afternoon game drive. Every turn within the Mara reveals new sets of attractions to admire. If we are not fussing over the wildlife, sunburned savannah, or bird variety, then we are admiring the scenery. We return to the lodge in the evening.

After breakfast you will depart the lodge and drive leisurely towards Nairobi. On arrival you will be taken to the famous carnivore for lunch. You will later be dropped at your city hotel or the airport according to your departure timings. That is the end of the 4 day safari.

5.00I would highly recommend the Kichaka Tours group to anyone wanting to visit the Masai Mara and Lake Nakora regions of Kenya. Charles was our guide and tracker. I cannot over look the amount of attention to detail details and his professionalism in handling my families tour this past month. He is patient, knowledgeable, and the entire Kichaka Tours group will respond to any of your requests and questions in less than 24 hours. When it comes to looking at the game while we are on Safari, Charles was always good about getting us into photography Range. He knows how to navigate and get the best shots for those who are into photography. 5.00It has been our third safari and by far the one we mostly enjoyed in terms of games. Geophrey exchanged with us non-stop and went the extra mile to accommodate and help and tailoring that trip to our requisites. Lodges met the expected level of service and luxury and staff was extremely helpful. Our driver Mike (Miguel) did all possible for us to see the big5 and give us an unforgettable experience of the Masai Mara Reserve. No surprises and great service. 5.00From the initial communication with Geophrey everything has been simply perfect. We changed the itinerary twice and Geophrey was very helpful and able to make it work better for us and other plans. On arrival, we were met by Geophrey and our wondeful guide, Timan. We discussed the plans and headed off for the bush, with a must visit to see the elephant orphanage first. We arrived at Lake Nakuru after seeing a lion settling in for the night and had a great stay in a Sarova hotel before another morning drive. After a few days in The Masai Mara we headed back to Nairobi. The hotels have been wonderful, the food amazing and Timan was a kind, knowledgeable, helpful man who drove us safely on some 5 hour drives, always making sure that we were comfortable and able to see the wildlife that we longed to see. The tour delivered exactly what we had in our bespoke itinerary. Thank you Geophrey for your organisation as well as Timan for looking after us 24/7. We will never forget this holiday.

5.00An experience I will never forget, thanks to Geoffrey and Timan for taking care of our friendship group on our very first safari. From day one the attention to detail was immense, we felt safe at all times but there was never an absence of a good laugh on all of our drives. The hotels were also beautiful, offering stunning views of the savannah that I couldn’t have dreamed of, with excellent amenities and staff readily available to help with whatever necessary. Honestly a once in a lifetime experience.

5.00What an excellent experience…Kichaka worked really hard to make sure our trip was seamless…our guide was very accommodating and knowledgeable; the Serena Lodge was beautiful and very comfortable; our guide worked hard to make sure we could see all the animals, and I would absolutely use Kichaka tours again
