Skanderbeg Square
In Tirana you will visit the main Boulevard in the center, the Gallery of Arts, the Skanderbeg square, the main Boulevard, the Mosque, the Bunker, the Pyramid, Mother Theresa square, blloku area which is also the most frequented area of the city, the national park of Tirana, and the Mosaic of Tirana. you will visit the National Historical Museum if you would like.
The small town of Belsh sits in the middle of many small lakes. It is mainly agricultural land, and there seems to be no immediate reason for the tourists to venture here. But sometimes, when the weather is not quite good enough to visit dramatic mountains, or if one tires of the beach…
Enver Hoxha Pyramid
Designed by Enver Hoxha's daughter and son-in-law and completed in 1988, this monstrously unattractive building was formerly the Enver Hoxha Museum and more recently a convention centre and nightclub. Today, covered in graffiti and surrounded by the encampments of Tirana's homeless, its once-white marble walls are now crumbling, but no decision on whether to demolish or restore it has yet been reached. The pyramid is during our sightseeing and we will stop 10 minutes for explanation

Gjirokaster
The lovingly restored Ottoman-era Skenduli House has been in the hands of the same family for generations (apart from a few years during the communist period when the government took it over), and you'll most likely be shown around by a member of the family. Dating from the early 1700s, but partially rebuilt in 1827, the house has many fascinating features, including a room used only for wedding ceremonies and which has 15 windows, many with stained glass. You will visit the house with a guide.

Gjirokastra Bazaar
the Castle of Gjirokastra is all that can be seen, rising majestically over the city. Like a giant ship made of stone, it extends across the 1100-foot-high hillside on which it was built during the 4thcentury. A monument to nearly two thousand years of Albanian history, this castle is nowadays one of the most visited places in Albania. You will spend around 2 hours in the castle including the time to go and to come back.
Butrint National Park
After lunch, you will start visiting the top archaeological sites of Butrint inside: Butrint (Butrint in Albanian) from ancient Greek was an ancient Greek city and later Roman and a bishopric in Epirus. Inhabited since prehistoric times, Buthrotum was a city of the Greek Chaonian tribe, later a Roman colony and a bishopric. It went into decline at the end of Antiquity, before being abandoned in the Middle Ages after a major earthquake flooded most of the city. Hotel check-in and free time by the sea Saranda, which is the unofficial capital of the Albanian Riviera, and over the summer months, it seems like half of Tirana is moving here to enjoy the lively beach and the lively nightlife along its crowded seaside promenade.

Qeparo Beach
Setting off from Himara, the road is only 13 km long and full of the beautiful Mediterranean views for which the Ionian Coast is so famous for. The locals say that Qeparo’s name comes from the cypress tree, which are so common in this area. Unlike the many rocky beaches of the south, Qeparo Beach has fine sand, and the sea is shallow for the first few meters, making it different from the immediate depths of Dhërmi and Jali. It’s for this reason that Qeparo is such a family favorite. There’s also a very quaint old pier which has been built on the large rocks that lay there.
Porto Palermo Castle
On the way to Himara near the Ionian sea, in a picturesque bay just south of Himara, this 19th-century fortress, also known as the Castle of Ali Pasha, makes for an interesting stop-off along the coastal road. The fortress itself is eerily dark inside, but it's well worth paying to wander around and explore the battlements, which have superb sea views.
Llogara Pass
The Llogara Pass is a high mountain pass within the Ceraunian Mountains along the Albanian Riviera. It connects the Dukat Valley in the north with Himarë in the south. You will have a short stop for pictures of the amazing Albanian Riviera.
Vlore
The Monument of Independence is a monument in Vlorë, Albania, dedicated to the Albanian Declaration of Independence and worked by Albanian sculptors, Muntaz Dhrami and Kristaq Rama. It is found in the Flag's Plaza, near the building where the first Albanian government worked in 1913. You will have one 10 minutes stop on this historical center of Vlora.

Durres Amphitheatre
The Amphitheater of Durrës remains one of the most majestic of the ancient world and one of ten most beautiful Roman amphitheaters. Widely recognized among enthusiasts of Antiquity, it is a pearl of the Balkans that is slowly making its way out of the shell. Discovered relatively recently, in 1966, its unearthing occurred in a slightly comical way by Vangjel Toçi. Legend has it that Vangjel, an archaeologist and resident of Durrës, happened upon a fig tree which had fallen a few meters below ground level. Curious and inquisitive, he insisted that the area undergo excavations. Rightly so, for underneath was lying the long-sought-after Amphitheater.
Venetian Tower of Durres
On the way to the Amphitheater, the visitor cannot miss the City Walls, built-in blocks that have managed to survive until this very day. Those who have governed the city throughout the ages have left their mark on the way the surrounding walls were used as, ultimately, they were a security system that protected the city from various conquests throughout history. The massive walls seen today were built by Anastasius I, the Byzantine emperor of the 4th century A.D, who defended the city from invaders. The walls’ original height of 18 meters and considerable breadth provided an advantage against enemies of the time. Later, it was emperor Justinian who reinforced the surrounding walls by placing small observation towers above them

Absolutely fantastic trip. Genci, the tour guide and driver, was perfect. Learnt so much, and covered so much of Albania in only 3 nights! Highly recommend Genci, who owns EnjoyTravel. Such a nice flexible and smart guide.

We did the tour in October 2023. It was a pleasure. The tour loops through SW Albania, inland and coastal. We particularly enjoyed the town of Gyrokaster (inland) as well as the Albanian Rivera. Our guide, Genci, was knowledgeable, professional, and relaxed. It made for a very informative, low key 4 days.

I contacted Enjoy Travel quite last minute asking about a tour (the week before we travelled in October!) and Genci responded very promptly, and was able to organise our tour as requested. The tour itself was great - well organised, covering key sites in southern Albania, good quality hotels, knowledgeable guide, lovely meals included, and above all smooth. Genci also recommended some good places to eat (for the meals not covered in the tour cost). I would really recommend.

Highly recommend travelling Albania and doing it on this tour. You get to see a lot of different parts of Albania. Genci was a fabulous guide. He was very knowledgable and we learnt so much more about the countries history by doing a private tour.

My family of 3 had a private tour organised by Genci, who is the founder of Enjoy Travel. The programme is well planned and also flexible to tailor our needs, for example to add a kayaking experience on the beautiful beach of Dhermi and to drop us off to Golem instead of Tirana. It was an action packed tour and enable us to see the active (beaches and kayaking) and cultural sides (the 3 UNESCO sites, the capital and the Roman colosseum) of this beautiful country. Out of these activities, the highlights were the ancient city of Butrint and the pristine beaches of Ksamil and Dhermi. Genci had very good insights of these places to share in the tour. Food was another strong feature of this tour. Genci told me that he only picks the restaurants that he tried and satisfied him for his guests. Not only the meals were well prepared, he even picked the restaurants with views for us. All the Italian, Albanian and seafood restaurants of this tour were exceeding my expectations for a guided tour. Genci is not only a good guide, he is also a very good driver. His driving is safe and steady which is a great contrast to his fellow drivers in the country. He was sensitive enough to drive extra carefully when my son had a bit of car sick on a very hilly (but beautiful) coastal path. It was very different to the taxi driver I had from Golem to Tirana who was totally reckless. I truly recommend this tour, particularly for families or small groups who want extra flexibility in tailoring your trip. Thanks again to Genci who had provided wonderful hospitality and be such a great ambasador of your magnificent country.

Absolutely I with my boyfriend spend 4 days visiting a beautiful place, meeting great people, tasting delicious and traditional food. Our tour guide Genc was well prepared because he used to give a lot of information about historical monuments and other places. He used to be very careful with our accommodation and his suggestions. Definitely we have seen the south riviera and we are very surprised about Albanian beaches and amazing sights. We would come back again!

BEST TRIP EVER! My friend and I are two young women from America and we know practically nothing about Albania, not to mention the language. We booked this trip because we wanted to learn more about the Balkan history and culture. And this trip has largely exceeded our expectations! Our guide Genci is such a professional, fun, knowledgeable and inspirational person. We learned so much from him not only about the fascinating history of Albania, but also got a variety taste of local cuisines, lifestyles and pop cultures. In the past I’ve only done backpacking in Europe, so this is a total new experience— instead of stressing about finding my lodgings, worth-visiting food places, hitting famous sightseeings, while planning out my itinerary details and figuring out transportation in a foreign country, all is covered by this tour! I felt I was truly on vocation, but also learned so much about the rich history of this beautiful country. If you’re a foodie, this tour picked the best restaurants—and most of the meals are included in the price. Genci is also very flexible with our schedule and needs; very fast in responding questions. Anyway, my friend and I totally fell in love with this country and the kind, lovely people thanks to this trip. Highly, highly recommend! ❤️🇦🇱👍

Genci, who runs this tour, was wonderful. My friend and I were traveling from the US and didn't know anything about Albania when we booked our trip. We were a little nervous about being two young women alone in a new country where we didn't speak the language, but Genci put us at ease right away. He was very responsive and accommodating to itinerary changes we wanted to make shortly before the trip, and booked lovely places to stay at all the places that were covered by the tour. He was also a fantastic and very safe driver. The itinerary itself was very well-balanced, we got to see a lot in the 4 days we had without spending too much time in the car, and never felt rushed. Genci was very knowledgeable and did a great job explaining the history of all the places we visited. We got to see many "off the beaten path" locations that larger companies would likely skip over, but were just as fascinating, if not more so, than the main tourist spots. And the beaches we visited were just as beautiful as Croatia's. Overall, a very unique, worthwhile, and affordable trip. Would recommend to anyone who wants a unique vacation. Go to Albania!
