5.00Wonderful tour with Hubert (sp) as our guide. Beautiful island. Hubert was so informative regarding plants and also wildlife. We even stopped at his home to see his garden and honey bees. Amazing!

5.00As well as the island vantage points we visited the ancient unesco worship areas and treated to a real flaura and fauna experience culminating with samples of local fruits, juices and honey all provided from our guides garden. Top marks to Hubert and his eco garden and ably assisted by Estoban with further explanations and translations. Both interesting characters. Nice relaxing trip with no real 4x4 off roading bone shaking.

5.00Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. As Māori he was able to relate stories to our culture and allowed us to have time at Taputapuatea. I loved going to his garden to see his produce. An amazing experience

5.00Wonderful experience. Saw many great sites. Especially enjoyed our tour guide, Tau, and his wife. Very personable. You could tell that he had a great love of and pride in his village and island home. Great experience.

5.00We had already decided where to go, but they arranged the plan based on the weather and other factors. He also taught me more about Polynesian culture and history, which was very interesting! He also explained the plants and fruits on the island and showed me his garden. If you want to learn more about the island, Polynesian culture and history, this is the place for you! 5.00We had the most incredible experience on Raiatea with Hubert as our guide. He was absolutely amazing—so knowledgeable about the island’s history and the many different plants we came across. If you love plants, I highly recommend this tour, as Hubert’s knowledge and passion in this area is second to none. We also visited a local pearl expert who shared fascinating insights into the craft, and we were able to admire some truly stunning pieces available for purchase. What made the tour even more special was Hubert welcoming us to his property. He showed us his sustainable lifestyle, which included making honey and amazing natural insect repellent, and a tour of his beautiful garden. We feel truly blessed to have been part of this tour it was informative, inspiring, and unforgettable.

5.00Our tour guide Hubert communicated with us prior to the tour and gave exact information about where he would pick us up. He was early and we started the tour with a drive around the populated area of the island. We soon entered the rural area and were treated to stunning views of the lagoons and jungle landscape. Hubert gave us valuable information only a local would know about the best scenic places to visit on Raiatea after the tour. I highly recommend this tour as it was informative and Hubert obviously cared deeply about the island and the history of Polynesia.

I highly recommend this island tour, which allows you to discover nature, culture, pearl oyster farms, as well as Hubert’s garden, which is full of beautiful fruits and honey that he will share with you.
