I had a very short visit in Tibet, but Great Tibet Tours, and especially my guide, Migmar made sure that I made the best out of the experience. Migmar took care of me, so that I felt safe all the time, and taught me a lot of Tibetian history, culture and buddhism. Migmar was fantastically practical, she found a solution to all my daily or logistical problems and also made sure that I got everything at the very best price. I experienced beautiful landscapes, serene and intimate temples, kind people and a very unique culture. I truly recommend everyone to take the chance and visit Tiben now. Great Tibet Tours was very communicative from beginning to end, they took care of my Tibet permit and to deliver it to me safely, and booked a very well located, comfortable hotel room for me. I would be very happy to choose them for my next travel.

Thanks, guys! We loved it. Loved the guide, who was a super nice Tibetan lady, and the driver. They showed us the place from the inside. Tibet is such a unique place! Nothing like that in the world. Top of the world. Also I wish we were more prepared for the high altitude, which didn't let us enjoy Tibet as much as we could've without the altitude sickness and the need for an oxygen tank :) The nature is stunning and the Tibet culture is transforming and disappearing. So go and see it now.

My visit to Lhasa was complete in every way and fulfilled my thirty-year wish to see and experience Tibet. Thank you and please extend my gratitude to all those in your organization who organized my visit. Transportation was always on time and was convenient and comfortable, thanks to driver Danzen. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the accommodation to Western breakfast food was appreciated. I am especially grateful for tour guide Danzen for his detailed knowledge and careful explanations in the monasteries we visited and the Potala Palace; the fact that he is a native Tibetan and a practicing Buddhist greatly enhanced our discussions and granted me the insights I had hoped this trip would provide; his discretion, patience, and enthusiasm were exceptional. While my visit was not a spiritual quest it was not a tourist quest for photos and souvenirs, and I have returned with a deeper sense of the place and the geography that your tour provided. While I was saddened by the sight of the “modernizations” that are taking place in Lhasa, I am grateful to have seen and experienced those aspects of Tibet I have studied in books for many years. James Due to age and other commitments, I will most likely not be visiting Tibet again, but I will surely recommend your company to my friends who are considering a tour. Thank you for a wonderful tour (at a reasonable price) with attentive and knowledgeable guides.

I had the 6 Days Lhasa & Namtso Lake Group Tour with my mom this time, she is 70 years old. Our driver and guide were very caring for her, I very appreciate them. We like the hotel in Lhasa very much, The bed is very comfortable, so my mother got a good rest. The scenery of Namtso Lake left a deep impression on us, the lake is very clear, the snow mountain is very majestic. I can't imagine that there would be such a huge lake at such a high altitude. We are home now and often flips through those photos. Our Tibet journey was really good! Thank you all!

From the minute I met my guide Denzen at the train station, I felt at ease and was ready to start my journey. I was dropped at my hotel, which was extremely comfortable with nice amenities and a great shower, whch was much needed after a 41 hour train ride from Beijing. The night was mine to explore and Denzen was to meet me in the morning for a tour of the monasteries and temples around Lhasa. Chauffered about with an incredbile and kind driver, I took in the sights from the comfortable backseat. Everthing was well planned out and Denzen was a wealth of knowledge and offered patience. The trip to the Lake was very special and at 15,217 ft an unbelievable place to chill out. After some rain, wind and even a rainbow, my experience was one I’ll never forget.
