Aurora Camp is located on a hilltop near Murphy Dome, a top Northern Lights viewing spot near Fairbanks, favored by Aurora photographers. The cabin sits in an area with wide-open views, free from light pollution or any obstructions, offering a full panoramic view of the Northern Lights. Relax in a cozy Alaskan-style cabin with six large windows providing over 180° of stunning views while enjoying hot chocolate in comfort.
* 1,500 sq ft new cabin, built in summer 2023

Tour Options:
* With transfer (pickup and drop-off): Available from all Fairbanks and North Pole hotels, Airbnbs, etc.
* No transfer: Drive your rental car to the cabin. The roads are well-maintained and in good condition.

We accept bookings from August 21 to April 10—please select your tour date accordingly. Relax in our cozy, Alaskan-style cabin with panoramic mountain views while enjoying complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate, snacks, cup noodles, etc. Entertainment options include board games, karaoke, and projector movies (upon request). We offer free photography to capture your moments with Lady Aurora. On the tour day, we’ll confirm final details with you. If you’ve booked a transfer service, departures are typically between 9:00–9:30 p.m., with flexible options, including airport drop-offs. We look forward to hosting you!

1.00Terrible, guide talked way too fast and expected us to understand. Waited 4 hrs to see nothing. I think we should've at least got half our money back if we didn't get to see the northern lights.

5.00We had an amazing experience. The cabin was wonderful and David is amazing!!! Very knowledgeable about the aurora and great photographer. He took multiple pics of us and the aurora and shared them all with us before we left!!! Directions to the cabin were very precise. We had a terrific evening and a beautiful 40th anniversary at the cabin!!! And Lady Aurora put on a stunning show despite 83% cloud cover at the start of the evening.

2.00The night was not favorable with cloud cover. The host made a pizza for us but otherwise sat in one place the whole time. Would have expected some effort at least on photography.

5.00Everything unfolded as advertised with this company. They were extremely responsive to questions. We were picked up at our hotel on time. The cabin where we went to await the possible sighting of the Northern Lights was very comfortable and accommodating. Our hosts were very gracious and helpful. Although Mother Nature didn’t cooperate we were pleased with the experience. If we decide to venture to Fairbanks in the future to see the Northern Lights we won’t hesitate in enlisting this company again to help us.
