Tarangire National Park
After early breakfast depart to Tarangire for a full day game drive at Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch. It is the national park in which herds of up to 300 elephants scrape the waterless river bed for alternative streams, while nomadic wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest, and eland mass the decrease lagoons. The national park that holds migrants during the dry season and welcoming home of elephants dinner and overnight at Lilac Campsite.

Full day game viewing in Central Serengeti. Early morning after breakfast, you will depart from the lodge and we will proceed to Serengeti National Park. We descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park, with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Then head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species.

5.00It was just perfect. Everything was organised excellent. We had 6days Safari in Tarangire, South and North Serengeti and Ngorongoro Mid range. Hotels were fine and camps were great. But all above it all, was our guide Fredy. His knowledge and experience was spectacular and he is also a great person.

5.00We had the most incredible experience on our 6-day private safari tour (Tarangire – Serengeti – Ngorongoro). Our guide, Frank, was absolutely exceptional – truly the best guide we could have hoped for. He went above and beyond to show us the amazing wildlife, plants, and hidden details of Tanzania, all while making sure we felt comfortable, cared for, and well looked after throughout the journey. His knowledge, kindness, and dedication made the trip unforgettable. The accommodations were also fantastic. We stayed at Suricata Boma Lodge, Kumbukumbu Tented Camp, and Tortilis Camp – each one was beautiful in its own way. The staff at all three places were incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful in every aspect imaginable, which made our stays even more enjoyable. This safari was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, filled with memories I will treasure forever. Thanks to Frank and the wonderful teams at each lodge, everything was perfect. I can’t recommend this safari highly enough – 100% worth it!

5.00Our private safari with Suricata Safari was an absolute dream experience! The program was perfectly coordinated: 1 day in Tarangire National Park, 1 day on Lake Manyara, 1 day in Ngorongoro Crater, then two full days in Serengeti and finally a day of travel back. During this time, we actually saw all the Big 5 – an unforgettable highlight! In addition, there were very special experiences such as lions in the “Honeymoon” and a real elephant pool party – moments you will never forget again. A huge thank you to our great guides Damian and Aizack who have made every trip an adventure with a lot of knowledge, experience and humor. And of course to our “boss” James, who spoiled us with freshly cooked, delicious meals on the way – simply fantastic! After this intensive safari, the conclusion at Suricata Boma Lodge was perfect: Pure relaxation in lovingly furnished cottages, excellent food and the warm hospitality of the entire team. Just the thing to let the impressions work before we went on to Zanzibar. Organisation, support and procedures were all-round professional – but at the same time warm and personal. We can fully recommend Suricata Safari – if you want to experience an unforgettable safari, this is the place for you!

5.00Lewis was our guide and James our chef for our family safari. They were both excellent and made this trip the holiday of a lifetime we had hoped for. Lewis is knowledgeable, interesting, easy-going, organised and extremely hard working. We have a lot to thank him for. How James manages to produce varied and really tasty food (and masses of it) in pretty basic conditions, is beyond me. We really appreciate them both and would happily recommend them to anyone lucky enough to get them on their tour.

Our 6-day safari with Suricata Safaris was one of those once-in-a-lifetime experiences you never forget — and honestly, it’s hard to describe with words. The connection with wildlife was so real, so raw… seeing lions just meters away, watching elephants stroll past us, the sunsets over the Serengeti — it felt like living inside a nature documentary. From the very beginning, the Suricata team made everything smooth and easy. ⭐️ Grace helped us with the booking process and planning — super kind, helpful, and always patient with our questions. 📍 At arrival, Daniel welcomed us and walked us through the full itinerary in such a clear and friendly way that we felt instantly at ease. 🚗 And Adam, our guide and driver for the entire safari — what a gem! He was knowledgeable, fun, and always made sure we were safe, comfortable, and in the right spot at the right time. Honestly, Adam made our trip 10x better. We visited Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, the Ngorongoro conservation area and crater — every place had something magical. We stayed in Boma Suricata Lodge, Tortilis Camp and Ang’ata Ngorongoro camp, all amazing in their own way — cozy, well-located, and with that special feeling of being in the heart of nature. After the safari, we ended our adventure in Zanzibar, relaxing on its stunning beaches — the perfect way to wind down after so many incredible moments. 5.00We had the best driver and animal spotter in Tanzania - thank you Fredy, you are the best! You anwered all quesrions and have a great sense of humor. Everything was well organized, Daniel briefed and debriefed us. I appriciated a lot the lunch with real dishes and freshly prepared food, very ecological - no plastic waste and tasty at the same time..

5.00It was a great tour. We've seen a super lot of animals, a lot of cheetahs, even a leopard. Some animals were just a few meters away from us. Our guide Freddy has a lot of experience and knows a lot about it. He's the best driver and the best animal finder. The accommodations were very good. Very friendly staff everywhere.

5.00It was truly an unforgettable experience! Our tour guide Jumbe (Frank) was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly enthusiastic, which made the trip even more enjoyable. He went above and beyond to ensure we saw all of the Big Five and shared fascinating insights about Tanzania’s diverse bird species, local ecosystems, and the intricate relationships within nature. His passion for wildlife was contagious, and we learned so much more than we ever expected. The safari felt like a perfect blend of adventure and exploration all thanks to his expertise and dedication. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a more memorable journey! He also helped my partner to arrange the best spot in the Serengeti for our engagement proposal. 5.00We had an amazing time on our Suricata safari. We visited all 4 parks in the Northern Circuit(Ngorongoro and Serengeti our favourites, but all were great). We saw a really wide range of wildlife including all of the big 5 and our guide, Max, and chef, Jeremiah, were incredibly friendly, helpful and resourceful throughout. Max helped us see so many animals we wouldn’t have and Jeremiah's cooking was great throughout. We would thoroughly recommend.

5.00We had a great experience on our 6 day safari! When we were picked up at the airport we were still nervous but Chucke welcomed us and helped us to organize all necessary’s( mosquito spray / dinner, etc.). Next day we met Lewis, our tour guide! Great guy, took his time to explain everything, never pushed and funny personality! Additionally we had a personal chef named Jeremiah who cooked 3 times a day. Also a great dude who cooked delicious food. We booked a camping safari and the both, plus all people in the camps, have made the trip special. We started in Tarangire, then headed to Lake Manyara, 2 Days Serengeti and last but not least we went 1 day to Ngorongoro (+1 day driving combined). From the great 5 to the ugly 5, thanks to Lewis we have seen everything! My personal favorite was Serengeti, as we seen so many big cats. Lion family of 18. 3 Cheetah together and leopards chilling on trees. I can highly recommend to book a tour with Suricata Safari and wish all the people the best! I proudly will tell everyone at home about that adventure 🫶
