  Our 14 days Kenya-Tanzania, organized by Mary at Gilmag Safaris, was absolutely spectacular, far surpassing even our highest expectations. This trip was the best vacation I’ve had up to date. We found Gilmag Safaris randomly online. When booking a trip for Africa who knows where to start? I am glad we found Gilmag. Mary will probably learn reading this review that I was in discussion with 3 other tour operators during the planning stage. Not only was Mary more responsive than the others but her trip was the best value as well. I’m happy that Mary recommended that we visit 3 different parks (Kenya – Masai Mara, Naivasha and Amboseli. Tanzania – Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire) in both countries - both were wonderful but had differences and we saw all of the big 5 and experienced so many amazing sights Preparation and organization was excellent, every day a highlight, all things were safe. We had a wonderful experience in the planning of our Safari and had an absolutely FANTASTIC holiday! I wish I could relive this exact trip again and again because it was perfectly curated and so much fun. Much appreciation to our tour guides Amos and Nickson. We love Tanzania and highly recommend it as a must do destination.

  It was our first time in Africa, and we booked a 7 Day Wildlife safari with Gilmag Safaris. Mary was great from booking the tour, being in contact with us and our guide through-out our safari. We saw lots of animals and loved the Open safari jeep. It was truly a great experience. What made the package even better was the luxury accommodations and our guide, Gilbert. The drives were spectacular and we got to see all the Big 5. We also got to spot a wild dog, which is apparently extremely rare. This made our safari even more special. Honestly, I could not recommend Gilmag Safaris enough. The customer experience was outstanding. We had an unforgettable trip.

  We had an amazing safari in Tanzania with Gilmag Safaris. Mary communicated so readily and easily with us during the planning process and was very helpful and accommodating as we kept changing the plans. The organization was excellent, Mary was always available to answer any request and she was reliable. Our guide, Mbasha was really passionate about his role and did a great job giving us lots of information and making our experience the best one possible. We visited Manyara, Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. The tour was a great experience. The Tanzania landscapes were sensational. I can’t express how grateful we are for the amazing experience that Gilmag Safaris provided. Zanzibar part of the trip was incredible – excellent accommodation. Qambani Luxury Resort blew our mind. If you are planning a luxury trip to Zanzibar, then this is the place to stay. We can’t thank Gilmag enough to recommending this resort. I highly recommend Gilmag Safaris. We felt so well taken care of throughout the vacation.

  We found Gilmag Safaris randomly on Google Search and contacted them. Every question was answered quickly and the preparation information was spot on. The payment process was effortless with flexible payment plan. Everything was perfect especially the warm welcome from our guide, Erick who was neat and perfect in everything with a clean and nice safari landcruiser. We visited Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti where we witnessed the Great Wildebeest Migration. Accommodation was well arranged according to our request and we had the best experience which exceeded our expectations. The Plantation Lodge – was the icing on the cake! The gardens, the rooms, the restaurant - fabulous! We had the best vacation ever! I recommend Gilmag Safaris 100%.

  This was our fist safari with Gilmag and it was a life changing experience. The 7 day trip was designed and customized to fit our travel needs. The attention to detail by Mary was simply amazing. She focused on providing the best experience. Ndutu was awesome with thousands of wildebeests and other animals. Gilbert took care of every little detail of our itinerary, and he had excellent knowledge of the Tanzanian parks. We visited Ndutu, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire (in that order). The accommodations recommended by Gilmag were of high quality and they offered unmatched service. Thank you Gilmag for this memorable experience.

  I knew Gilmag Safaris through my friends who came on their trip in 2019. So I knew what to expect. But I must say; my expectations were exceeded. I absolutely loved this safari Company. Mary was really quick at responding to our correspondence and very helpful during the process of booking. Very straightforward and highly dependable. I liked the transparency from the first day and the professionalism in this company was awesome. Our meet and greet at the airport was so friendly and helpful and put us immediately at our ease. Jimmy, our tour guide was very proactive, he briefly told us about all the animals we saw and even about some plants. He was always on the lookout for animals and made that extra effort to ensure we could see maximum animals. He was a very safe and reliable driver guide. These guys provide very good value for money ratio. Thank you for giving us exceptional and profound memories, we will no doubt be back to see you again.

  We had a fantastic trip with Gilmag Safaris for our honeymoon. We spent 15 days across various safari locations including Zanzibar. What an amazing trip!!! Communication was great throughout and lots of information provided. Mary was incredibly fast in responding to our queries. The accommodations selected were perfect. Our guide, Jimmy was amazingly knowledgeable. The tour proceeded as stated in the itinerary. We had a trip to be remembered. Thanks to Gilmag Safaris for their great organization. The safari exceeded our expectations. I will repeat it again soon.

  We chose Gilmag Safaris for their glowing reviews, reputation and fantastic customer support. My first interaction with Vivian from Gilmag Safaris couldn't have been more welcoming and nicer. I can't say enough nice things about her. She was always incredibly informative, trustworthy, always there for us. We had a free accommodation upgrade in Serengeti, something that we really appreciated. Our guide was Nickson and he delivered a truly remarkable experience, one we will never forget! Everything was perfect and we looking forward to seeing you again and sending our friends your way. Gilmag Safaris is an excellent tour operator. All was handled smoothly and the service was exquisite and special. Gilmag mad our dream safari a reality. Highly recommended.

  I spoke to a few different agents, but Mary seemed the most knowledgeable and understood what it was we were looking for. She offered us thoughtful choices for our holiday, working within our budget. The travel information was well organized and easy to follow. The service Gilmag Safaris offered was throughout and also great. Mary was very responsive and easy to get hold of, and always extremely helpful. All the transfers went smoothly. The whole trip was efficient and effortless for us. The organization was impressive and we were completely at ease transiting the parks. In a nutshell, Gilmag Safaris delivered on everything that we asked for. We wanted an outdoor safari experience and got that, we wanted relaxation and luxury and got exactly that too. Above all, we had the best tour guide – Gilbert. He was attentive to our needs. He has over 15 years of experience – with his help, we saw all the Big 5.   Gilmag Safaris gave us the dream vacation and memories that will last a lifetime! From start to finish, working with them was a pleasure and I cannot highly recommend them enough. The vehicle was clean and spacious and even included snacks, hot tea and coffee. Everything was well organized, and we saw so many animals. Our guide was Nickson. His deep knowledge of the parks and the wildlife allowed us to see all the big 5. The accommodation and food provided was fantastic. This was a once in a life time kind of experience. We had a truly magical experience and would recommend Gilmag Safaris and our guide Nickson to anyone. You cannot go wrong with Gilmag Safaris.
