Sheldrick Wildlife Trust

David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, a special organization that rehabilitates young orphaned elephants. Learn the stories behind how the elephants got there and how they will be cared for and process of re-introduction of the elephants back into the wild. You'll see the orphaned baby elephants receiving there specially formulated milk formula and also if close by have a chance to touch the elephants.

Maasai Mara National Reserve

At 7 o'clock you will be picked up from your Nairobi Hotel and commence the drive to Maasai Mara via the great rift valley viewpoint where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the rift valley. Arrive at the time for lunch. In the afternoon after you check in depart for a game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve. Return back to the lodge for a sumptuous dinner at Mara Maisha Camp. Masai Mara Reserve is the most popular tourism destination in Kenya. Located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Wildlife is most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment. It's regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife Viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. Hardly can a visitor miss to spot the big five. The phenomenal wildebeest migration which is a spectacular event only seen in Masai mara is the 8th wonder of the world.

Mara River

Spend the full day exploring Masai Mara in search of the Big Five. You will have picnic lunches as you do the game drives. There are lots of resident Hippos and crocodiles sited at the banks of Mara River. Optional: In the evening, Visit the local Masai village for a Masai cultural tour at USD20. Learn about the Masai community and interact with the local Masai people. An overnight at the Masai village can be organized upon request. A balloon safari at can be organized early morning on this day then proceed with the normal program. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Lake Nakuru

Early breakfast followed by the last early morning game drive in Mara Reserve on your way out of Maasai Mara. Thereafter commence the drive to Nakuru. Overnight stay at sarova lion hill game lodge

Lake Nakuru

Marvel at this bird life sanctuary with its 450 species of birds experiencing great sightings of the endangered white rhinos. Black Rhinos can also be seen. A perfect habitat of yellow acacia & giant Euphorbia trees. Of great interest is the rare and endangered Rothschild giraffe naturalized in this park after being relocated from soy plains of Eldoret in 1974. The greatest attraction, flamingos form a flamboyance of pink color on the edges of the lake. The abundance of the blue green algae naturally present in the lake forms the primary food source for the flamingos. Visitors can also enjoy the panoramic view of the lake from the baboon cliff, the highest point in the park. Other animals to be seen are- large herds of buffaloes, Defassa Waterbuck, Impalas, Grants and Thompson gazelles, Lions, Baboons, Cheetahs, Elands, Leopard, Spotted Hyena, Black and White Colobus Monkey, Common Zebra, Genet etc., Game viewing is relatively easy.

Amboseli National Park

After a sumptuous breakfast we will embark on a very scenic drive to Amboseli national park which is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape, and open plains. Arrive in time for Lunch Check in Ol tukai lodge Amboseli have lunch and a short rest. Sunset game drive in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo with a view of Mt Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at OL Tukai lodge

Observation Hill

Early morning game drive later return back to lodge for breakfast. Amboseli is famous for its elephant herds, which include huge, tusked bulls which makes the park one of the favorite destinations for photographers and filmmakers due to its gorgeous backdrop dominated by acacia woodlands. A particular feature of Amboseli is that you will come across huge herds of elephants as they stroll through the grasslands with Mt. Kilimanjaro's snow-capped peak in the backdrop. Among the Big 5 and other wildlife such as maasai giraffes, a variety of antelopes, gazelles, spotted and striped hyena, cheetahs and lesser kudus. From the Observation Hill you will have a view of the entire park and especially the large swamps hosting the many elephants, buffaloes and hippos. Over 400 species of birds have been recorded in this park. On request and at an extra charge we can arrange for a sundowner as you enjoy the African sunset. Overnight Ol Tukai lodge amboseli.

Nairobi

Early breakfast then checks out followed by a short morning game drive en-route off Amboseli and drive to Nairobi. When you arrive, you will be dropped to your hotel or the Airport. At the same time, we can arrange you proceed with a train to Beach holiday at the Kenyan coast, Mombasa/Diani beach from Emali town.
