Private Transfer with Sightseeing: Day Trip between Phnom Penh and Siem Reap Experience a private transfer with sightseeing on a one-way day trip from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap, or vice versa, featuring four exciting stops. Passengers will be picked up from their hotels in either Phnom Penh or Siem Reap for a seamless journey with sightseeing. The journey includes stops at these four key locations: Skoun Market: Begin your trip with a stop at Skoun Market, also known as Spider Ville, where you can sample and purchase a variety of insects. Dkei Ancient Bridge: Visit the remarkable Dkei Ancient Bridge, the longest ancient bridge in Cambodia. Sambor Prei Kuk Temple: Explore Sambor Prei Kuk, the oldest capital and temple complex, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Kampong Kleang Fishing Community: Discover the floating and stilted villages of Kampong Kleang on the shores of Tonle Sap Lake. After departing from Phnom Penh, we will first stop at Skoun Market, known for its local delicacies. We will then travel approximately two hours to reach Sambor Prei Kuk, a temple group nestled in the jungle north of Kampong Thom. Next, we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at a lovely spot in Pre Bros. In the afternoon, we will drive for about an hour to visit the Kampong Kdei Ancient Bridge (Spean Preah Toses), which dates back to the 12th century and was built during the same period as Angkor Wat. Finally, we will explore the Kampong Kleang villages, a fishing community renowned for its and floating villages and stilted houses villages that rise above the waters of Tonle Sap Lake. After the trip, travelers will be transferred to their hotels or dropped off at their destination in either Siem Reap or Phnom Penh. We travelled door-to-door from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap with our very good English speaking driver Thearak. Along the way we made a number of sight seeing and comfort stops. The roads were very nice and weren’t too busy so we kept moving. Our driver was very knowledgeable about the sites and the history. We were pleased we drove rather than flew as we saw parts of Cambodia that we would never had seen, it really was an eye opening experience. If you stop at all the optional stops/sites, as we did, it took about 11 hours but that could be shortened.

It's a great way to go from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh. Our driver GG was a subsitite but he was great. He was very authentic and told us many things about locals. He really did his best to make our trip enjoyable 👍 The visit to Kampong Khleang fishing village and Sambor Pru Kei were quite impressive, and very few tourists currently. We also got to try some local delicacies along the way, like bamboo sticky rice, smoked fish and fried tarantula (which we politely declined)

We were messaged the day before to confirm final details for our transfer from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh. All in all a really excellent experience, our English speaking driver, Kosal was superb we felt safe throughout the trip, he was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and responsive, pointing out places of interest along the way and always happy to stop for photos,comfort breaks or food stops etc. The places we visited on our journey were Kompong Khleang village (boat trip just over 1hour and Kosal tagged along to act as translator) Kampong Kedi bridge, we only needed 5minutes for photos and the Spider Market (just 10minutes at our request) where Kosal acted as a guide. Other destinations were offered but we declined. Overall (including stops) the journey time was 10hours, well worth it! Experiences we would have missed had we taken a flight.

It was such a nice trip. The driver was very friendly and told us a lot uf interesting information about the region. I can really recomend this tour to anyone.
