Constructed in 1828, the Rif Fort was the work of Dutch engineer Baron Krayenhoff, outfitted with walls nearly a foot thick, 56 cannons, and 27 arches.

Queen Emma Pontoon Bridge

This bridge also called the swinging old lady is a floating pedestrian bridge supported by 16 pontoon boats connecting Willemstad the two sides, Punda and Otrobanda together. During the way your guide will be telling the history and showing the view of the UNESCO building.

I felt the “tour” was more of a taxi ride. I didn’t learn much and didn’t see much outside of the landscapes and the distillery. Even at the distillery, all we learned was only that provided on the history posters.

Wow! What a wonderful time during this excursion. My family and I traveled to Curaçao on the carnival Venezia and it went very well. Pick up and drop off to and from the cruise terminal were very smooth. Titi and Jurrel were great to work with. You can tell they love their jobs and their island. Titi was our tour guide and was extremely informative!
