Experience the thrill of snowmobiling through the pristine Arctic wilderness surrounding Camp Tamok. This adventure begins with a 90-minute bus ride from Tromsø to the remote Tamokdalen area, where the wilderness camp is located. Upon arrival, you'll be warmly welcomed by your guide and equipped with thermal gear, including a suit, boots, gloves, and helmet. A safety briefing ensures you're ready and confident to navigate the snowmobile. Sharing the vehicle with another person, you'll alternate between driving and riding as a passenger, traversing snowy trails past mountains, valleys, frozen rivers, and lakes. Midway through the journey, a short break allows you to switch roles. After the snowmobiling tour, return to the camp to enjoy a warm meal in a traditional lavvu, an indigenous Sámi tent. Gather around the open fire with food and drinks, sharing stories of your Arctic adventure. During peak season, groups may alternate between the snowmobiling tour and the meal to ensure a more intimate experience. Once everyone reconvenes, board the bus back to Tromsø, taking with you unforgettable memories of an adrenaline-filled day exploring the Arctic wilderness.

The experience would be positive if it was not for the arrogant staff more precisely our guide a young man of French origin was rude and very arrogant made us feel like it was merchandise to squeeze and throw away we tried several times to reason with him but was arrogate we were on the morning tour even his partner was more tough than aggressive forced us to go hard to finish the tour as soon as possible

Really fun snowmobile adventure amongst incredible snowy mountain scenery. Mikko was a great guide, very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Excellent, from start to finish, our guide Phillip and the other team members made the day very enjoyable. Lovely stew after a good journey through the valley and up to the mountains.

The whole experience is very well organised. Our snowmobile instructor Victor was extremely helpful and very friendly. The views are spectacular and we spent a good 90minutes on the snowmobiles through the picturesque Tamokdalen valley, stopping occasionally for photos. The Camp itself was well staffed with all the usual facilities and the soups on offer were incredibly tasty. The entrance to the snow park and domes is impressively enticing but costs extra to enter which we did not do on this visit. All in all it made for an exceptionally enjoyable day

We hoped for sunny weather with great views -- we had 20 knot winds and snow, but still had a great time!! My 18 year old has wanted to snowmobile forever, so we surprised him with a trip out and he loved it. We did too. It was fun to ride with another person and share the experience. I rode with a woman from London who had never seen snow before! The gear was very warm, the instructor and guide was very experienced, and the meal afterward in the laavu was lovely. We had lamb stew with carrots and potatoes, coffee, tea, hot blackberry drink, and stories about the region.

Very positive experience. Tour of about one hour and fifteen minutes during which you will cross fantastic landscapes. Snowmobile riding is quite tiring but pleasant. However I would not recommend it to who has serious back problems as the stresses are quite strong.

Loved every minute of this experience! Great fun with beautiful scenary. We did this on the first day of our holiday to Tromso and it certainly set the standards high for other activities we booked!

Everything was just perfect and extremely safe, i would highly recommend this tour. Although it's expensive, it's a moneys worth tour. Camp Tamok was extremely beautiful beyond words. Truly a heaven on earth place...Please visit this place and do experience the snowmobile activity as it is super fun.
