You will be able to see the exact place where Dr. King gave his I Have a Dream speech.You will see the Lincoln Memorial lit up against the night sky.and will be told about the history of the memorial and Lincoln the man by your tour guide.

First, this was one of the best city tours I have experienced during my many travels. Mr. Kenny - tour guide/owner was on time, professional, and highly knowledgeable of DC and African American history. It was my honor to solicit his business. It was a fantastic experience from seeing the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial to having a delicious soul food dinner and fellowship!

We were a group of teachers and we were ready to LEARN! Our guide was truly a gem and was a great teacher during our tour, weaving in stories from his childhood. The dinner was sooooo good ending with us making new friends with other attendees. Such a a great time was had by all.

Unsafe, dangerous experience

There was a shooting next door as we ate in an unsafe area. The owner of the restaurant got into a full blown fist fight, and assaulted the customer. The tour guide was a bully who refused to come at the agreed pickup time even after I changed my original reservation to another day to serve his request for me to change. The major monument sites you see are at a distance, so there’s no point in paying for this tour. And the time in between is filled with common knowledge Black history facts or telling us what “used to be a car dealership.” It’s overpriced and a disappointment of a tour.

Wow!!! I am still dreaming of the food and truly enjoyed the tour.. We have been here before and wanting to see DC from another perspective was great. Our guild was knowledgeable and fun to tour with. He communicated with us to be sure everything went smoothly.. Kenny understood our physical limitations and adapted to them. Great evening. PS. You really need to try those Brussel sprout's

Very unreliable tour provider who did not show up at the time of the meeting and did not even take the time of informing the group because it was the Super Bowl.
